Found my 'novena' almost 4 years ago. Had to upgrade my topper 2 years ago because they quit making my favorite atomizer.
So here's my little Mako with an A7.

Lots of us are experienced vapers here, and some of us have found a great device and tank combination that meets or exceeds our needs, and we are perfectly happy with our current setup. So those of us who have, lets share! It could be multiple devices and tanks, but if you had to keep one, JUST one, what would it be?

I have two, myself. One is the Provari P3 paired with the new Taifun GTII. Its just plain fantastic. I can crank higher watts out of it, up to 20 with my device at least, and I can back it off to 10 watts and tighten up the draw and I'm still satisfied. It's a breeze to build and wick, has a glass tank and holds 5ml's of juice. The Provari P3 is well... a Provari. I don't really need to speak much to how awesome these things are.

Edit: This it the GTII with the nano tank. This one holds 2.5 ml's of juice, and the full size holds 5 mls. I usually use the nano tank at home, and the 5 ml when I'm out and about

My second is my LP Reo Grand with a bottom fed Trident V2. I've been using this for a while now, and it's the reason I sold my Provari V2.5, which I regret. It's bulletproof, holds 6ml's of juice and looks great doing so. The Trident is getting a little dated, but I had a guy on the forum modify it for me. I typically run a dual 26 gauge micro at .41 ohms. It just goes and goes and goes. I carry a flashlight that takes a spare 18650, so I can just swap my flashlight battery and my Reo battery and I'm good to go again. My reo has never failed me, and never given me a problem. Whenever I'm trying something new on the Provari, my Reo is ALWAYS at my side just in case something goes wrong because I know I can rely on it 110%.

Quite a pair I'd say. The Reo has been getting shelved a bit more often since I got the Taifun GTII a couple days ago, but it's a device I'd never get rid of. So how about you guys? For me, if I had to keep just one, I'd be really hard pressed to choose. Honestly I'm really enjoying the Taifun GTII right now, and my vote would have to go the P3+ GTII setup.

So I've been looking at the Reo Grands but I can' seem to find (anywhere) a guide to which atomizers are compatible!
For example I have lots of Tobhs, Plumeveils, Dark Horse etc but obviosly they are not "bottom fed".
Are there specific atomizers for the Reo Grand and/or can I modify the ones that I have?
    Cheers!

Not to break the norm, so my ADED is a TRA REO Grand with a cheap FT RDA modified for BF w/ twisted 28ga duals @ .5.

brickfollett, I think it says something that you are sure to have your REO by your side while tinkering with your Provari. That speaks volumes. You questioned which ONE rig would you keep, then presented your TWO. Play fair. Which one of those would you carry through the zombie apocolypse?

jchisholm, most all RDAs can be modified for use with a REO. If you can see the insulator between the deck and center post, all that needs done is to slot the insulator to allow liquid to feed past it or drill-press the center post. Option 2 is not an option for some people. I used the first option, and it works well.

Remove the center pin (may take some force).
    Remove insulator
Cut a straight line from top to bottom, parallel with the post
    Reassemble
*the nylon or delrin insulator is firm enough to maintain separation of the pin and deck, but allow a channel for liquid to feed past.

Haha it's not about the Provari unit itself, I know that's bulletproof. It's about having a good, reliable tank for it, which has taken me a rather long time to land on a good one, which I have. Zombie apocalypse? Reo, hands down. But if I had to get rid of all my vape hardware right now except for one device and tank? I think I'm keeping the P3 and GT2. It truly is a toss up though. I love both devices, and they are total opposite vaping styles and mechanisms, but I really really love them both haha

There are people on the forum that modify drippers for people. Quigsworth did mine, not sure how readily available his services are these days. Rob has a nice selection of bottom fed drippers on the reosmods.com website. The chalice is a highly sought after bottom feeder, and cyclones with airflow control are very popular too. Robs Reomizer 2 is a very nice one, although the airflow is a bit too tight for me. fasttech should have a few bottom fed drippers too
