Been vaping about four months now after 38 long years of smokin' mostly non-fiter Lucky Strikes. Been through a bunch of Pv's (started with Blu) but for about 2 months now I can't seem to put my Provari down. Still searchin' for my ADV so I'm doin' the DIY now. I have had some luck with Backwoods Brew and The Vapor Room juices, trid the almighty "Boba's" and it was ok. Bounty Hunter didn't really cut it for me though so many praise it. There's a lot to be said about the "taste is subjective" statement. I've been lurking here since before I took up vaping, and the help and advice you can find here is second to none. If your havin' troubles, ask your questions here on ECF and you WILL get help. I've only started posting today because I think now I have enough experience to be a beneficial addition to this great group of vapers. I thank you all for the help I've gotteen from reading here.

Good Luck to all new vapers and stick with it as those analogs are not a viable option. :vapor:

Happy vaping!!!

I haven't been doing this long at all either. I wished I had spent my beginning money on my Reo. But starting and getting off analogs was my goal and the eGo-T worked. Today my ADV is Carolina Crush. My next step is DIY. I'm vaping enough juice now to warrant making my own. I like a menthol, and the Wife likes Cappuccino & Chai tea. Hopefully I can get a good tobacco mix going that I will like. I'll own a ProVari someday I'm sure, but for now I'm in REO blissfulness!

Welcome to the forums.

I am on the same page with ctourtelot. I smoked for more years than I can remember and started with the standard 510, long 510, ego, and ego-t. After several years of vaping, I have stuck with all of them (even the standard 510 which is nice when I am working with both hands and need to hold it in my mouth (flat-tips of course).

Thought about moving up to a vv but decided smoking/vaping was a relaxing pastime- didn't want to have to deal with multiple clicks, ohms, volts. My "obsession" with e-cigs went into DIY.

I have VECs, eGOs, and Joye 510s (all tanks) scattered all over the house and grab the closest one. I leave the house I'll most likely grab an eGO-T or VEC (Boge eGO-T clone if I'll be gone all day. Other than the all day thingie, it really doesn't matter to me. Juice has been 24mg Dekang Desert Ship from the get-go.

I rock an eGo with the mega dual coil carto's on the go with Nitelite vapor's bounty hunter or an assortment of virgin vapor juices on the go (I've found those flavors taste best on the EMDCC setup) but at work I rock a bullet with Boba's Bounty on a Kanger carto, soon with a Liquinator tank. I am about to have Reo Mini and some atomizers in my hand to have a more convenient Boba's setup though... the search continues.

I am on like my 5th juice and have not found "the one" yet. I just ordered some pink watermellon and some pearberry and also have some boba's bounty coming. I am hoping to find my go to juice soon. There are just so many good flavors. Hard to nail down just one. One of my favorites so far has been DFW vapors mountain dew although I wish they had a better vg ratio. I like a bit more vapor however the taste is outstanding.

Hey everyone! I have a question for all those who've used tank systems. Has anyone had problems with them? (leaking, clogging, anything) I know everyone has different experiences, but I need to not refill every few minutes and also be able to switch flavors on a whim. Not ready for the craziness of mods...yet. I need to be better informed before I delve into that mountain of craziness :~D

I have, or have had just about every mod made, yes I know I'm obsessed (don't want to miss out on something), but ironically it's a lowely little Mako that never seems to leave my hand. It just "does it".

For juice I go through more American55 (555) from electronicstix.com than all other flavors combined.

Variable Voltage Vaping from Totally Wicked!

The Torpedo VVV! It's time to kick your vaping into high gear! The all new Torpedo VVV is a specially designed variable voltage electronic cigarette that provides you with anywhere from 3 to 6 volts of vaping power with the easy click of a few buttons. There are many cool features and tech specs that separate the Torpedo VVV from the herd.

This device is better suited to the more experienced vapers as the as the variation in the vaping experience can be dramatically affected by the voltage used and a greater understanding of this can be beneficial.

    Torpedo VVV Features:

    - Aluminium Body
    - 1 Power button
    - 1 Voltage up button
    - 1 Voltage down button
    - 1 Activation button
    - 1 LCD screen, which shows the current voltage the device is set on
    - 1 510 threaded connection
    - 1 Vented removable end cap with spring for battery tension
    - Uses 1 - 18650 flat top high drain battery

    Kit Contents:

    1 x Torpedo
    2 x 2200maH lithium cell batteries
    1 x 2 cell battery charger
    2 x 3ohm 510 bridged atomizers
1 x Chrome finished drip tip
    1 x User manual.

Plus free 10ml bottle of Red Label E-Liquid of your choice.

    Torpedo Body Dimension 125mm (L) x 22mm (D)

    Technical Specs:

Selectable voltage from 3v to 6v in 0.1v increments.
Power on/off button - Hold the button down for 5 seconds to turn the device on, hold the button again for 5 seconds to turn the device off.
+ Button: On press, increases voltage by 0.1 increments between 3v and 6v. When you reach 6v, the user starts back at 3v.
    - Button: On press, decreases voltage by 0.1 increments between 3v and 6v. When you reach 3v, the user starts back at 6v.
+ and - Button: Press and hold both buttons for 5 seconds to disable the + and - button, locking the device on the voltage it is currently set at.
Regulated output which keeps the voltage the same with each puff - regardless of the remaining battery power. As the battery drains, the device will keep the voltage consistent.
If the power button is held down for 10 seconds or longer, the Torpedo VVV will shut itself off until the button is released. To prevent overheating the Atomizer and the device.
Short Circuit/Atomiser Protection. The Torpedo VVV can recognize an Atomiser with too low of a resistance for the current voltage setting and will drop the voltage to 3.7v to protect both the battery and Atomiser. If the Atomiser is too low or shorted out it will shut off power to the device to protect the Torpedo VVV from being damaged.
Reverse Battery Protection - Protects the device in case you put the battery in the device backwards.
Battery Monitoring/Over-Discharge Protection - The device will monitor the battery voltage and automatically turn off when the battery is discharged, preventing damage to the battery by overly depleting it.
Battery Voltage Meter. The Torpedo VVV has a voltage meter built in, simply press the red power button 7 times and it will display the voltage of the battery for a few seconds. This way you can monitor the power left in the battery before it needs to be recharged. 18650 batteries provide 4.2v at peak charge and over the life of the battery that voltage will decrease to about 3.3v level before needing to be recharged. This will help you monitor the life cycle of the battery. The LCD screen will flash when the battery needs to be recharged, and will stop powering the device.
Amperage Limiting to 2.5amps - The device should monitor and shut itself off if it detects any excessive over-current conditions.
Vent hole on the bottom of the device for added safety.
    Special Torpedo VVV Warranty Information:

The TORPEDO VVV unit will include a 1 Year Limited Warranty against any manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. We strongly suggest that you use the Flat nosed IMR High Drain 18650 Lithium Ion Batteries that we sell. We also suggest the 510 threaded atomizer be used. We strongly recommend atomizer with a 2.3 ohm resistance or greater to use with the Torpedo VVV.
The Flat Nosed IMR High Drain Batteries will be warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase. Please ensure you fully charge your batteries in-between use and follow safe storage practices when not in use.

As far as a PV goes for me you cant beat a Reo top off the juice load a fresh battery and out the door for the day worst case scenario I swap out a battery and I generally work 10-14 hr days and am not gentle on my riggin. As far as juice I like to mix it up same old same old gets boreing I lean more towards the fruits and colas and find if you dont like a certain fruit flavour add a little cola flavour to it and voila good to go.

I've only had my provari for about 5 days now, but dear god it's nice. I was still having an analog or three a day, but now I'm distracted enough to stay away. Not to mention the fact that it's so easy to tune it to give you the best throat hit you can get for each juice/carto. As for juice, I still don't know. I have a lot of flavors I like, and so far TVR's RY4 has been one of the best in terms of satisfaction. With a lot of my other juices, though, I feel they'd be much better with a touch of menthol, lol.
