I'm going to try and not come off some elitist crotchety old man. (Should be easy as i am barely twenty)
I have seen these things around here for a while. Usually at gas stations next to the Logic disposables and Blu kits. I didn't pay no mind to them as i know better then to buy that crap. I bought a Logic to try out vaping and it died on me after about a cigarettes worth of vapor. Not the 2 packs the package proclaimed. Anyway it now seems we might have a problem on our hands.
My younger sister and her friends came over and tried to get me and my mother to buy them a so called "Hookah Stick" or "Hookah Pen" (The old man thing is beginning to kick in). After educating them a bit because they were convinced it wasn't a PV i refused but my mother relented and tried the store across the street. They didn't have any but this still poses a problem.
Apparently they are currently trending.

What we see her is a group of young (around 13 years old as in the case of my sister) and irresponsible buying these things and using them in class. Its basically vaping for Snap back wearing, Jersey Shore emulating, "Little Wayne" playing, "Yolo" spouting, "SwagFags" . These people are irresponsible and could quite possibly bring negative attention the PV's.
One one hand you can say it is a good thing to have more people into the hobby. This would help promote our cause if they became mainstream. As the first round with electronic cigarettes lead to them being banned. Which is a shame because they could have been a revolutionary thing.
On the other hand. Like i said this is a group of irresponsible youth that i believe shouldn't be associated with PV's. When someone hears the world "Electronic Cigarette" i don't want this group of uneducated and disrespectful youth to be the image in there mind.
The Government finds out about this and this could lead to our hobby being banned.
Maybe its just me unleashing my inner hipster but i absolutely despise the abhorant, grotesque, degenerative, and disrespectful culture that surrounds us.
