Have you notice diffrent taste using passthrough?

I dont know if it is just me, but i was wondering if anyone lese had noticed this. when i use my passthrough on certian flavors like orange for example i get a signifigantly diffrent taste almost as if the voltage is so high that it is burning some of the flavoring. not abad taste, just diffrent? anybody else noticed anything like this?

Yes, it makes a difference on some flavors. Some I like better on the PT, and others I like better on the battery.

Any of the batteries has a nominal voltage of 3.7v.

The passthru has a nominal voltage of 5.0v.

That represents about a 30% increase in power, which translates into a much hotter atomizer.

The hotter atomizer will increase vapor production & throat hit. It does affect the flavor, sometimes negatively.

It will also use up the juice in the carto faster and you have to be more careful or you can burn the filler in the carto.

Yes, it is normal. PT fans go with it because it makes them !

Me, too, it makes some flavors, especially my Virginia cartos in high mg, very harsh. But on the batteries, they're really good. Seems like the higher the nic level, the harsher it can make it, for me.

Sometimes even the xtralongs change the flavor slightly.
