The only problem with that comparison is that I'm usually satisfied after one box of popcorn. This hobby however... buy one starter kit and that leads to another then off to accessories and of course I've got a big pantry that needs to be filled up with juice. 'Smoke' isn't just coming from my 510, 401 and Janty Stick, it's pouring off of my credit card as well. Oh well, pass the butter and salt the show is about to begin.

Am I crazy or stupid?
I found out they make menthol nicotine free e cigs.
I loved menthol cigs and miss smoking.
I also need to loose weight. I am disabled and have MD so exercise is hard to impossible. I am hungry all the time.

I was hoping that maybe between the taste and deading of taste buds I might eat less.

Even if it made no difference weight wise when I quit I promised my self if they ever came out with a cigarette that would not kill me (or not kill me any faster than bacon, or white bread) that i would so start again.

I know better than to get hooked on nicotine again, even though the smoke is WAY more dangerous than the nicotine.

My wife thinks this is a horrible idea, as I bet my dr would too.
My thing is life is not risk free, that and we all have to die some time.

Any way what do you guys think?

Any one try nicotine free e cigs?
Do menthol e cigs taste like menthol cigarettes or just straight menthol?
thanks
I am in a similar situation as you. I quit smoking for 4 years but recently I was within moments of buying a pack and starting again.
I never stopped wanting to smoke, I thought about it almost every day and I always liked smoking, I just didn't want to kill myself.
Then...CNN showed me an electric cigarette. I knew at the first instant I saw it this was the answer.
I love to smoke but I dont want cancer. I started researching immediately and I use only nic free juice. I can vape when I get an urge to smoke and I can just leave it alone if I want to. I love being able to sit at my pc and vape, blow "smoke" rings and kick back.
I say try it- just dont ever use nicotine and whatever you do, dont smoke a real cigarette.

Have you found a nic free juice that taste kind of like a cigarette?
If you've gone at least a week without a cigarette, then you'll agree...

Take a piece of paper and wad it up, then pour some ammonia and formaldehyde on it.
Then put a few drops of glue on it and soak it in urine for a day.

Now spark it up and if it works for you, then you have the proper recipe.
