I'm using a regular Riva 510 battery and no matter what atty i screw on when i push the button the light blinks 3 times.....If it wasn't fully charged it'd blink many times for like 30 seconds straight so that's not it....Anyone seen this?
Having a problem with a battery i've never seen before.....

Actually it's happening even with no atty....Guess the battery's fried?? I've been thru a lot of Riva batterys in my time and never see one die like that...
Sounds like what was happening in this thread, he wound up gettting a replacement battery.
Blinking three times is supposed to happen when you lock the button . Basically if you press the button 3 times in a row it will blink 3 times to lock the button .then the battery wont work until you hit the button 3 times again to unlock it . I learned this by mistake lol . Sounds like you may have this happening at random though but figured id let you know to be sure .

I've tried that but this is an old origional style Riva and doesn't have that feature
I don't have a 3-click shut off on mine. It did blink 3 times when I put a bad atty on it. I think something's wrong with the batt. One of the attys that came with it fried the batt too, btw.
my first one did that before it died altogether. It was still under warranty and LF replaced it.
Thanks for the info all...Too bad it was the worst news lol....Started having trouble with mine and my wifes ecigg's last night and gotta wait it out till around saturday when i get paid to order new hardware. This is gonna be a rough couple days LoL....
