I have a ego it said on the box ce4/ce5 then I bought a starter kit with a bigger battery and 2 ecigs one for the mom in law, I gave her my old charger and the new one won't charge it's constantly green and when I twist my ce4/ce5 in the ecig blinks 6 times.
ive been stalking this forum since I bought my 1st one so I know to clean the ports but its still not working. And with my luck my hubby took my new ecig to work, it came apart in his pocket and now one of the wires are broke off :( I miss my ecig
anotherthing w,ith the charger, it would charge randomly but I haven't had such luck lastb3 days

For the e. Cig. With one wiring coming off you need to sauter that wire back on, regarding your battery that wont charge there could be a 59 percent chance that your ego center pin is pushed down and your e. Cig. Is not making good contact with your charger. Try thisnfor a 50 percent success rate, get a paper clip and push ur center pin on ur ego up a bit without taking it off. This method has saved half of my ego batteries. If your new your center pin is the circular plate at the bottom of ur threading that connects ur battery to atomizer, just lightly pry it up with a paper clip from the sides of your threads, hope u get what im teying say

sounds like the pin that connect to the tank was not correctly in place- I've seen it happen a few times. If you have only had it briefly contact your vendor they should replace it (depending on where you got it from). The 6 blinks mean either a dead battery or a short. If a wire is separated the only way to fix that is soldering. Not the best advice but contact your supplier see if they have any warranty and if not get a new one and make sure the folks you get it from do. If you have a good or bad experience with any one supplier let us all know how it went.

Hmmm. The CE4/CE5 could be referring to the clearomizer in the kit.

Here's a silly question (I'm not being rude, I promise) but if someone is new, then they don't necessarily know.....You do know that an eGo (and some other batteries) you have to turn it on (and off) by pressing the button on the battery 5-6 times in fairly quick succession. It will then tell you its on when you press the button normally and its stays lit (and of course it's off when you press the button normally and the light doesn't come on).

Another question for you - did you get a new charger specific for the 650 battery kit? The charger for the stick style batteries will not work, and it's important to ensure you have the right charger for the job as Ryedan very wisely stated.

Otherwise it's back to the shop tomorrow. Two things you most definitely don't want to take ANY chances with are a dud battery or a dud charger.

well my eGo queen 1100 mAh wall adapter is busted, I tried connecting the usb connector to my samsung phone wall adapter and it took me 2 hrs to fully charged.. is this ok? i mean using different adapter lol I have no choice and have to be resourceful

A slow charge is a good charge. It prolongs the life of the battery and allows the charge to last longer. Some smaller batteries like the 650 or 400 mAh capacity charge fairly quickly, but larger batteries like the 1100 have much more capacity, and restoring that capacity takes time.

As mentioned elsewhere in the thread, make sure the battery and charger are compatible with one another, and don't try mixing and matching threading conventions like eGo, 510, 808, etc.

Oh, and no one should ever carry a long stick battery in a front jeans pocket. It's either gonna break, or the button will get mashed and drain the battery (or worse).

Just check to make sure the voltage and output is the same, for the charger you're using, as it is for the busted eGo charger. 2 hours is about normal for full charge on my eGo batts so it "sounds" OK ie 4.2 volt 420 mA for eGo batts - of course it would be too high for the 510 stick batteries. :)

That seems like too quick of a charge for an 1100MAh battery, if it were fully discharged. Too fast isn't good.

My eGo wall adapter reads :Output DC 5v-/500Ma on it- is yours similar?

If you're not sure if everything is OK, only charge while you're close by, and check it for warmth- it should stay fairly cool.

this is my busted wall adapter, might be damaged when I had them shipped over 1.jpg

the usb connector works fine i think 2.jpg

and this is what i use as a replacement adapter.. 3.jpg

lol, the connector LED turned green and my ego Led blinked 5 times (I think) at exactly 2 hrs after i start charging.. the blue LED on my batt stayed ON while charging.. is that normal? I am here in Taiwan, no local store anywhere so having busted adapter really sucks..

    edit:

pics too small idk why..anyways it say here that my busted wall adapter has Output DC 6.00v 200-330mA, Usb connector has 4.2v 420mA, and my samsung phone adapater has 5.0v----2.0A
