Hi,
ive been using a Joye 510 tank system for about a week, so far i enjoy it but since this morning i feel like it produce less vapor.
By that i mean what i feel in my throat (throat hit) and what comes out of my mouth when i exhale.
The e- cig still produce vapor because when i puff without inhaling i see a lot of vapor.
My kit came with 2 atomizers and so far ive been using only 1 but i use both the batterys on rotation, since the batterys doesn't last a long time.
Today i was thinking it was the atomizer, so i tried the other one, and still the same thing.
The batterys seem to be okay, i mean they are 1 week old.
I don't use a drip tip, i use the tank carts that came with the kit.
I tried dripping a couple of drops on the atty but it doesn't make a difference.
I would like to know whats going on.
Is it me that starts to get use to that and i need something stronger that gives more throat hit and vapor.
Btw i vape on 24 mg e liquid if that might help.
I would like your opinions.
If i would use a drip tip would it be stronger hit-wise and vapor-wise?

You can't really 'drip' with the t-atomizers. You could get lucky and hit the spike hole but the other 'open' areas of the disk that holds the spike are airways.

Less vapor means two things on a 510-t or eGo-t - one is that the coil is flooded - in which case blowing it out and then tailpiping, or the wick in the spike has dropped, in which case you need to grab the spike and disk out of the atty chamber and rearrange the wick in the spike - some are able to get a needle into the wick and raising it a bit without removing the spike... you could try that.

On occasion, because the system is so air tight, just putting in the tank can move the wick down esp. if you didn't prepuncture the seal in the tank.

Although this is for the eGo t, the mechanics of the 510 t are still the same - wick, spike, etc. so undertanding it may help:

You can't really 'drip' with the t-atomizers.

Pop the wick plate and drip to your heart's content...

Well, true :) but there are better atomizers for that, imo - like the 306lr, but yeah, that's one way to do it with a tank atty.

If i would get a 306 low resistance atomizer and drip with it, would i get better vapor and throat hit?
Also isn't there any problem using these 306 atty with a 510 tank system?

One should use the 306lr (recommend a cisco) on a batt that is above 320mah. So an eGo batt would be fine for it. And yes, you'll get better throat hit and for stronger flavors better flavor too. Some light flavors can't hold up to lr attys though. BWB applewood holds up well and tastes better than on any other setup, to my buds :) Coffee flavors and strong tobacco also hold up well. Fruit and berry flavors, not so much. I have mine with a 'cannon drip tip' on a mini Reo - bottom fed so no real 'dripping' but it tastes just like dripping, imo.

Yes on any batt greater than 320mah rating....

Hi,
thanks for all your answers.
I have another question about the variable voltage mod i purchased on madvapes.
They say to use 2 14500 batteries with it.
The one they sell on their website are 900 mah.
If i use 14500 batteries that are 1200 mah, is it still going to work?
