having low voltage output

just a question about my flashlight mod..its a 3.7v mod..and its working but when i compared to my other 3.7v my flashlight mod seems having a low output voltage and and i dunno why..i dont have volt tester here so too bad ..anyway why is it like that? any solution? i only used the simplest diagram for 3.7v in a flashlight..

Sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere in the flash light. A volt meter on the ohms setting could find the weak link. I would suggest you buy your self a meter if you plan on modding. Other then that , you can redo your soldering to see if that will fix it.

What Java_Az said, or maybe the switch doesn't have a high enough rating. Meters should be standard equipment for anyone using a mod, and essential if you're building your own. You can get one that'll do what you need for under $10 these days.

If you're using the flashlight body as part of the current path at any point make sure all the physical connections between parts are clean and making good contact. It's easy to focus too much on the parts that you put together yourself and wind up totally overlooking the parts that you didn't ;-)

And if it's got a 'clicky switch' on it still, pull it and replace it with something solid and a bigger spring.
