well that's even more interesting. I'll have to send hcigar a mail as well. If someone has any more info about this I would be interested. also if someone with the XT80C chip could check their version and if their lock mode locks the settings button, that would be great

Mine says it has the hcigar Towis Warwolf xt80c v1.3 SW v5.2. A five click locks all buttons including the fire button.

I like this Aurora mod but can score this more than 7/10. Feels like a bigger Inbox, and I love my INboxes, but why no spring loaded 510? The ability to use a variety of batteries without carrying or looking around for the adapter is a plus. Still, the lack of a spring loaded 510 is a major flaw, IMO.

What are those POM spacers? Are they like the beauty rings with some attys or a thin O-ring?

Some people call them "Mod Savers". Because they can keep you Mod from getting Scratched.

Others call them Insulators because they are supposed to keep the Mod from getting Hot.

Still others, like myself, just call them Spacers because I use them to fill the Gap between the Mod and an Atomizer.

No Matter what you call them, they are Inexpensive and worth getting.

$4.01 Replacement PC Heat Insulation Gasket for Atomizers (10-Pack) 10-pack - for 22mm diameter atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$1.58 AOLVAPE Replacement Heat Insulation Gasket for Atomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack - for 24mm diameter atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Thanks, will order them. I was using a small O-ring for some of my set-ups.

I have been running a 21700 in the device and it seems like I am getting days out of the battery. I have the same 21700 cell running in my Anita squonker and barely get a whole day ??

I know the Anita is just a beatter mod but that much difference?
EDIT: I have changed the batteries between the two devices and still, days on the Aurora and barely a day on the Anita.
I think I am going to save the battery for my Aurora and just run 18650's in the Anita with that kind of battery life. Really do love the Aurora though.

I am kind of hoping they come out with a dual 2X series for this device. Think f the run time ?????
