New years resolution: Stop buying Nemesis clones

101vape SS nemesis: Near perfection. Trident compatible; as are all my nemies. Switch tolerance is very tight w/ near zero wobble. Switch is reasonably smooth. Can edge press w/o binding most of the time.

FT Brass Nemesis: Near perfection except switch does have wobble; not a big deal. Smoothest switch of the bunch.

FT SS Nemesis: Near perfection except the switch was bad. The switch had excessive wobble, excessive crunch and excessive edge press binding.

SS FT nemy tube not compatible w/ 101vape tube based on three screw attempts; maybe I could force start threading? Not sure whats going on and not ready to take one for the team. Brass tube compatible w/ all.

Summary: 101vape nemesis delivered fast and mine is very good. YMMV.

I'd buy Nemmy from a vendor w/ a return policy in case you draw the binding switch straw.

Someone could score some dough if they sold smooth replacement Nemmy switches for decent price.

Not unless the price of the "smooth replacement Nemmy switch" is less than the price of a couple magnets. Swapping the spring in the Nemesis switch for magnets makes it fire smooth as butter...

My FT SS Nemmy needed a lot more than magnets.

My FT SS Nemmy needed a lot more than magnets.

My FT brass and 101vape SS nemmies are pretty smooth w/ magnets and axle grease.

Anything is smooth with axle grease... but never heard of it being used in an APV...

This is because there are a lot of them out there being advertised and sold as "HCigar" and were not actual "HCigar" Nemmies....

You'd think; but axle grease was no match for my rough as cobs FT SS Nemmy switch

Any grease including Vaseline works fine on my other 2 Nemmies.

Just my 2 cents. I bought the tobeco clone from Vaperoyalty and I was thoroughly impressed. I considered the Hcigar but didn't have the money so...ended up with the polished kalafun ed. It works well, definitely a step above the FT one. I'm satisfied with it, and don't see any reason to buy another.

My flat top 18350 is old and my new button top 18350s make switch gap bigger than perfect.
I'm tempted to cut nemy pin but prefer to buy a spare.

I'm tempted to cut nemy pin but prefer to buy a spare.

M5x0.8 threads on top and bottom silver pins.

I trimmed a button head cap screw. My Nemy shrank to 61.0mm w/ 1.5mm lock gap. Looks great.

My other Nemy is 63.1mm w/o pin trim. Looks like it needs a pin trim. Maybe tomorrow.

Well I bought the "Nemesis Mechanical Mod Ultimate Upgrade" from FatDaddyVapes, and man did it make a world of difference to my Nemesis!

It comes with 2 bigger/stronger magnets than the ones I got from VapeRoyalty, and longer/extended positive & negative post/pins so you can take the excess slop out and use the beauty/kick ring.

My bottom switch now feels sooo much better (not wobbly), and I can now finally stand my Nemesis up on end without it firing!

I like DX magnets and shims.
I tune 18350 chemy for light throw and 18650 chemy for firm throw.
I use a hole punch set to make thin shims but scissors, x acto knife or razor will do.

I agree with the Extended pins. Makes the Mod look so much better when you maintain the Kick ring.

I Also have the FatDaddy Magnets - Same Spec as originals. The newer ones are supposedly rated at higher strength.
This is to reduce complaints of standing wobble.
The actual issue is MAGNET SPACING and some still complain.
When the magnets are kept in closer proximity even the smaller DE magnets will work in a 2 magnet configuration.
Proper spacing of the magnets will allow proper function while also allowing the individual user to set switch throw to their preferred length.

LOL - My 101Vape HCigar was the worst of the lot. Switch would barely move Only device would attach was the Igo-l dripper. everything else was to tight and bound up. Had me sooooooooooo ...... off after all the hype.
Just goes to prove, if a company can put out even one Lemon, it will find its way to me.
Could not even keep the thin Kick ring in place with any battery used.(A first for me)
None of my Kicks would fit the tubes.


After a few hours of off and on cleaning, tinkering, massaging, forcing and cussing, I finally have it whipped into submission.

Now it is a comfortable #5 of 5
#1 FT Brass Nemesis - 4th purchased
#2 FT Brass - 3rd purchased
#3 FT SS Neme - 2nd purchased and Nice for the SS
#4 FT SS Neme - 1st purchased and nicest looking but some times crunchy switch. - I will resolve once I have the time.
#5 101V SS Nemesis - All good now - switch acts tight at times but not crunching

ALL FT ARE now Two Toned and I love the look

All 5 switches now have short throw to just miss lock ring when firing..........SWEET!!!!
