Alright, so 101vape doesn't have any in stock, tried vaperoyalty but their site doesn't like my card for some reason, anyone know any reputable sites with similar prices to the two mentioned for a hcigar nemesis clone? been looking but I'm not sure how much I trust e-bay, so I'm just looking for somewhere I can purchase this from. any help is definitely appreciated! :/

Middle of the road price wise.

ElectronicStix.Com · Nemesis by Hcigar

However, I have the nemmy, the chi, and the vela, and this is the best one hcigar makes.
Caravela Clone by Hcigar - Brass - 101 Vape

You really think the vela clone by him is better than the nemi clone? Why? I see Fat Daddy Vapes also has magnets for the button on the vela also... and does it matter between brass and the other vela they have for sale? other than aesthetics of course. please tell me more if you dont mind :)

Of the three, the vela is the only one that worked perfect right out of the box.
I had to Fatdaddy the hell out of both the nemmy & the chi.
Of the three, the nemmy is my least favorite.
Wont say the nemmy is a bad mod, because it is a good PV. Just not as good as the vela IMO.

damn 10$ or so more and dont have them in just SS :( .... thanks for the link... if I can't find it anywhere else I'll probably just go with the gold rings and swap them out later lol

Actually I think that is a bit of false advertising. They sell the SS version, not the one with the gold rings.

Out of curiosity, what problems did you have with the nemmy?

Once I got the Nemmy setup figured out I've fallen in love with mine. It just took getting it all set so all of the contact pins were nice and snug. If there is any looseness in them then the button gets a little crunchy, but get them nice and snug and it's all butter smooth. The thing hits great, and I love the fact it includes a kick ring as well since I often use one with a retail clearo while I'm out of the house and running around.

If you go the ebay route like I did, look at the reviews of the vendor for the past few months (if you can, specifically on the Nemesis Clone) and look at their feedback score. If they rank high (99%) then they are most likely a reputable vendor for said product. The one I purchased my Nemesis Clone from has a 98.3% FB score and I love mine. Not sure if I can say this but it was from EmpireVapes.

I will say that the nemmy is best of the three when using a Kick.

It will leak out those side vent holes with bottom air fed toppers.

Do you find that the Nemmy button is really crunchy like that?

Remove the center gold ring and rest the contact pins, especially the one in the button. Make sure the top one is nice and snug against the topper and the one in the button is screwed in as tight as you can get it. Then put the battery in and screw the button on.

I never could get the Nemmy to work right with that center ring. Then I figured out that the ring should only be used if you're using a kick. If you're using an 18650 battery and no kick your Nemmy should look like this:

    No polished center ring.

I got mine there too, I put some magnets, works good for me also....they also have the Copper version for 44.99 shipped...which isn't bad considering most vendors have it for 49.99 plus ship

I've never had that happen and I use iClear 30 and iClear 30S tanks on it all of the time.

I think your problem is a leaky topper, not the nemmy. I've tried probably a dozen different bottom air fed clearos on mine. If it doesn't leak on my SVD it doesn't leak on my nemmy.

Also, where do you have your air flow adjustment set? All the way open , part open, or all the way closed?

I suppose it's possible that if you have a really tight fit on the battery and the air flow adjustment is all the way closed it could create a little vacuum inside while you're sucking which might draw a bit of juice back into the mod from the topper. Never heard of that happening on an Hcigar, but that's the only thing I can think of that would cause your problem if it's really the mod causing it.

LOL, now I'm having such a tough time deciding, I mean I want both eventually but for now just looking to retire my 69 mod for a while and I think both of these clones will hit harder and better than my 69. Both should probably take a magnet upgrade? aaaaand this is what happens when vaping becomes a hobby haha

Check out the Ehpro Cronus, if you can deal with it's one negative (locking screw needs to be adjust every so often)...there are few reviews on youtube
or get a Stingray, more vendors should have HCigar version out soon then....

I have the fatdaddy pins in mine. The extended top pin makes it the proper length with the gold band in place. The switch pin reduces the throw from 2.5mm down to 1.0mm. There is no crunch with so little travel.
You need to use the OEM top pin when using a Kick.

Was just going to say this. Beat me to it! For the record, you can put the kick ring at the very top also. I didn't like it between the brushed tubes.

I happen to own both the Hcigar 69 and Nemesis clones.

I can say for certain that the Nemesis hits harder and is much more trouble free than the 69. The 69 is a bit "fiddly", requiring more little adjustments to keep it all working at it's best. My Nemmy is extremely trouble-free in comparison. I can set the top pin when I put a new topper on and never touch it again until I change the topper again. The bottom pin I make sure is tight any time I change batteries. Other than that, I never have to change anything. It just works right all of the time.

After a good cleaning to make sure the threads were all clear and in good shape it's super-smooth. I can even move the locking right from full on to full off with a single flick of my thumb.

I actually own a genuine 69... thinking back now I wish it was a clone, I wouldn't have spent so much on it hehe. Just having trouble with the vape royalty site as it requires billing address to be the same as shipping address and I changed that last friday being that I just moved not too long ago. It's still not taking my card so now I'm thinking of getting it through ebay which kind of makes me a lot more nervous even with a seller that has a 98% rep. I guess no matter what it's going to be a hit or miss, really considering the vela and ordering magnets for that also, but the one thing I notice is no batt vents, not sure how big of a deal that is. Usually running the kayfun these days with 26g 6-7 wrap micro coil with cotton, don't have a ohm metter but pretty sure I'm at about .8 ohms.

Still can't decide! stuck at work but I'll order it as soon as I find or just think the nemesis is the way to go hands down, as much as I'm sure I'll own both in the near future lol.
