I'm fine with it not having an hcigar warranty. Ecig gives a 30 day exchange warranty so I have recourse if it's DOA or an initial problem crops up. It's about $50 more if you buy it at the "warranty-supported price." Having gone through the frustrating and fruitless process in the past of dealing with a Chinese vendor warranty (Kanger and smok), I see more value in $50 in my pocket than a warranty slip in the box.

Well according to the warranty at ecig.com it states the 14 days is DOA and the 30 days states as follows so I'm not sure about that one either. Not sure if you talked to them or just skimmed the page on the warranty for them. But this is what they have posted.
14-Day Warranty
Upon receiving your order, we ask that you thoroughly inspect and test all products purchased for defects or issues the manufacturer may have potentially overlooked. If you encounter an item that is Dead on Arrival (DOA) or defective, please notify us immediately so that we can quickly address the issue.

All products offered at Ecig.com (unless specifically stated otherwise), carry an implied, industry-standard 14-Day Warranty against defects due to manufacturing or failure. The warranty does not include any use of the product that does not fall into the designed use of the product as intended by the manufacturer. Additionally, the 14-Day Warranty officially begins on the day that the product was delivered, and not on the day that it was put to use.

30-Day Warranty
The 30-Day Warranty offered covers ONLY the specific items listed below. If your order contains any of the items listed below, please ensure that you immediately inspect the item(s) for any visual defects as your safety is our top concern.

  • 18650 Batteries

  • 18350 Batteries

  • 14500 Batteries

  • eGo Series Batteries

  • Mods With Internal (Non Removable) Batteries

  • Charger

I spoke with them before ordering and was told that the Hcigar falls under their 30 day warranty (which is exchange only; no refunds).

I am actually gonna order another from them today because the one I have comes to work with me and it's been dropped a few times.
Figured I'd buy another for home and weekend use. Since I got my first it has been real hard to use any other mod. Nothing compares to the vape I have been getting on this mod. Using .5 ti ssv wire and loving it .

I would buy the 10 ft .5 ti . Try it out if u don't think it's worth it don't buy more. I can almost guarantee you will love it. I had been using kanthal and ni200 when I decided to try it. .5 ti wire has no comparison to the ni200 wire. It blows that .... outta the water. Since I got ssv .5 ti wire I've tried other ti wire and even that don't compare . It's been the best vape I've tried period. And the coolest thing is they provide the tcr in csv format for dna 200. It works amazingly. I ordered on Monday and it was at my house wendsay. I emailed them asking for the tcr at like 11 pm eastern time and the owner responded with instruction like 10 mins later . He sent the tcr and I been hammering my dual setup and nothing seems to kill this stuff . It's so clean and flavorful . What's the worst that can happen u spend 12 bucks and don't like it. Or u spend 12 and throw away all your other wire and order 50 ft like I did.
What is the name of the ti coil you're talking bout??can i have the name brand or something??tia and vape on

Yeah but it just seems a Lil weird with the tc. I been using it in the crown also . I just like that ssv stuff.
I'm using SS430 twisted in a RDA, nothing weird with the TC using that.

That's interesting graph but to me appears it's not running in TL mode. Power jumps on preheat but then drops to exactly 70W Are you sure it's not dropping out of Temp mode into Power mode? Would be interested in seeing it graphed with Live Ohms & Cold Ohms

Edit: Just noticed it never reaches the Set Temp so maybe that's why it stays at 70W

Yeah, it'll drop wattage if I let it. Like you say, it just wasn't hitting the Set Temp in that example.

Dave, I've not had any issues with the brass 510 yet. I was paranoid about it but the general consensus from everyone I talk to is be gentle and it should be alright. I'm afraid I miss might be having a Lipo issue tho. Tonight mine stopped charging at 82% at the wall. So I connected it to Escribe. Everything seemed normal but I was getting weird amp readings. Like 1 am from my computer and barely .10 from the wall. Eventually it seemed to fully charge and it seems normal now. What do you guys think?
