i guess my point is anybody here know or can find out what is the battery inside the vt200 exactly ?
I try an rc store that sells planes and helicopters. The one close to me has some batteries that will work but they are 1000 mah. I think even the battery evolve sells on there site will work but it's 900 mAh. At least u can vape with one

They all fib a little. Only way to truly measure your capacity is to run the battery through cycles on a true lipo charger and average the results. I've found every battery I've owned, in rc or Vaping, to be incorrect. Some rare cases are higher than advertised most are lower. The cheap ones are typically much lower. I won't even get into c ratings...the ultimate fib.

One prime example is the max amps 1850mah 3 cell Lipo. I found that even tho it should be 20.5 watt hours by its specs it actually only comes out to 16.5 ish in escribes analyzer. Just something I noticed based on some mods I've seen that came with it and calibrated already like the militia mod.

well my hcigar vt200 battery , a cell died so only 2 cell works and the deice say check battery ... trying to contact hcigar for warranty no dice . tried to find a matching lipo battery in local rc store... as soon as they see its an e-cig ... they go "we don't have battery for this" and lose there smile ...

online i can find battery that match size , about (65X30X20) but they do not have the xt30 connector ... i guess i will have to change it myself take the one from defective batterie....

i just wish i could buy the correct battery from hcigar...

Hcigar doesn't warranty the battery as they have that stated I do believe on the FB page. I would have to go find it. they should warranty everything.

Dave, I've not had any issues with the brass 510 yet. I was paranoid about it but the general consensus from everyone I talk to is be gentle and it should be alright. I'm afraid I miss might be having a Lipo issue tho. Tonight mine stopped charging at 82% at the wall. So I connected it to Escribe. Everything seemed normal but I was getting weird amp readings. Like 1 am from my computer and barely .10 from the wall. Eventually it seemed to fully charge and it seems normal now. What do you guys think?
Thats good to know. No issues with the f. 510 threads. Was concerned for buyers.

No, no issues thus far for me. And, if you check out any of the YouTube reviews, many of the reviewers reiterate that they have have had no problems either. Now, I know brass is a softer material so I'm not gonna abuse the 510 lol but one reviewer even stated that Hcigar consulted with Evolve in making this mod and brass was decided upon as the 510 material due to it's conductive capability.

i had no issue with my 510 thread yet ... swaped couple of my tank / rda .. but i always screw it lightly very lightly lol .. actually taking extra precaution just in case...

I got question for u guys. I'm using crown tank with ni200 coils. On my sig 150tc I get a great vape at 45j and 400 f. But on my vt200 it seems to need higher temps and watts to get the same vape . Any idea why that is I'm guessing the sig is pumping more than it shows on screen or the dna is just more accurate. The dna 200 is way better as far as temp contollers is concerned but having to pump up the number has me wondering why.
Both mods read the same ohms and I've correctly setup the vt200.

Edit . I'm guessing it has to with joules vs watts. I just want to fully understand what's going on lil better so any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm not positive but I would say your correct that the sigelei is just putting out a little to much power while the VT200 is just more accurate. I can definitely say the DNA 200 is the smoothest vape by far. And I love these dual twisted titanium coils and playing with SS. I've never got such a amazing vape. :thumb:

Is there a noticeable difference between ss and ti?

On the dna200 at least

It was hard for me to compare on ipv4s because of the varying gauges and low power
I believe there is a pretty big difference in consistency with the two wires. Ti seems to be as of now much more stable while SS which does work and gives a great vape is just more jumpy especially while looking at he device monitor in escribe.

The DNA200 is making an assumption that the resistance it reads is partially mod resistance, If you measure and set mod resistance in escribe, is should get close to the same. So, for a .2 coil for example your first mod fires it as if it was a .2 coil. The DNA fires it as if it was a .2 coil less the value it has for mod resistance.
