I agree they are over rated. They all are. It's the nature of the battery game. Now throw a 1000 mah rated battery on there...
Yeah its true. When they put a rating on the battery they use a total capacity to get the numbers. So even if it's a 1300 mah battery only gonna be able to use 1000 mah because of the discharge limit. What's even worse is the discharge rating them selves. Might say 30c but only handle 20c. Same problems in the rc car applications. I've always had good luck with thunderpower batterys in my rc cars so that what I been using

This is a real pisser- I've been reading the same unfortunately on the forums- my VT200 should arrive today :/ Rather annoying especially since the extra battery life will have swayed many people (including myself) to buy this, and the false advertising really grates when you've paid a lot of money to a company for a 'quality product'.

I went off Hotcig after DJLsb's review about their appaling customer service- unfortunately Hcigar are probably not a lot better- was just going off how pleased people were with their VT40's... ah well, kind of wish i'd gone for a smaller device now like the lavabox if the battery in the Hcigar is only 100mah more.....

Yeah they battery issue sucks. And hcigar customer service sucks if u ask me. Other than that the box is pretty nice. And if u have an issue with the device u can start rma ticket with evolve And have it fixed. That's if the vendor or manufacturer won't help. I do love mine. I had 2 for a while. I just sold one because I got another from a small time maker. http://i.imgur.com/rkmd5rZ.jpg

That black reference style mod you have is truly awesome.

Interesting, I received mine yesterday, it has the updated gold-plated SS 510 connector (bought from Vape Geek in UK)- in eScribe, Hcigar have populated more of the mod settings now (on 'Get Information' it says configured by HCigar on 15th October), including case thermal properties but not internal resistance. Very interestingly they'd set the battery capacity to 12.24wh, which equates to 1100mah! What big fat liars they are in their advertising!! Love the device but may have bought the Efusion if i'd known this in advance....

Just a heads up and i have not seen anyone post this yet so apologies if it's old news. I ran my VT200's battery on my dedicated R/C charger and the battery is...... 1000mah, not the 1300mah claimed!
I also ran the Efusion battery which claims to be 1300mah, and is indeed 1300mah. i hate it when these manufacturers are lets say economical with the truth.I also dropped my setting from 14.43 to 11.1 to match the above capacity and the meter is now inline with what i would expect to see in comparison.
Battery Tested to 1000mah by CAR147

I did same with mine a week ago - 1100mAh = 12.20 and it seems to be the MOST ACCURATE with build in LiPo.
