Hi Guys,
So the hcigar VT200 has finally reached Australian Vape Shops.
For people that have owned it for a while now, is there any known problems with it?
How is temperature control going?
What sort of battery life would I get out of it, vaping between 65w and 130w?
Last but not least should I wait for the VT200 that has the SS 510 connection?
I want this to be my last mod, that I buy in a while so I just want to make sure everything is good with it.

Had to send my first one back. It worked for about 20 pulls then died. It has been a few long weeks but I am told the replacement was overnighted yesterday so I should finally get it today. Stoked.
Was it Brass version and your screen just died? (Im doing little investigation).

Yes on all counts. No response at all. Dark screen, wouldn't fire and wouldn't connect to PC/Escribe. A brick. Vendor confirmed this and has dropped the ball by their own admission in returning a new one so they overnighted it. I requested and they say they sent a black one.

Yeah, that same guide is what made my attempt it in the first place. The problem is that is the ONLY guide I can find online regarding it. I've attempted contact Ti coils multiple times and I still can't seem to get an even blue or avoid one of the legs glowing bright orange. The last one I build I took 20 minutes pulsing it for 2-3 seconds at a time at 9 watts and everything was going fine until suddenly one of the legs lit up. I rinsed and wiped it off and vaped it anyway and I didn't really notice a flavor difference over spaced. Maybe I messed it up, maybe there isn't a difference, I'm using a twisted non-dry-burned dual Ti build right now. Seems to work wonderfully with the Steam Engine CSV and the flavor is good.

So I always make contact coils, and so far I have zero issues with hotspots etc. I always pulse/dryburn to fiddle and get an even glow. At low wattage, maybe 10-15W for duals. I am using the Ti wire from crazywire at the moment and I am gonna try sweetspot vapors Ti soon-ish. Dual 8 laps around 2,5mm drillbit 26awg in Velocity, wicked with fiberfreaks is by far my favorite, the flavor is phenomenal

TBH in the beginning I was really really careful not to overglow, and did it with lights off etc. But more recently I havent been super careful, not doing it in the dark etc. I usually glow them fairly orange/red, not bright but enough to see that they glow completely evenly across the whole coil. If you overdo it and start creating TiO2 you will for sure notice it, it looks almost like you have painted the coil with white paint.

Same here just as a fyi. I was able to fiddle around with it a whole lot and eventually get escribe to read warranty service error message but the vendor that took it back couldn't even get that.
Now you have me curious, what type of investigation and what are the results thus far?
OK so the times that I have had a leg or two light up orange the color afterwards looked a little whitish but still gray and I had thought I formed ti oxide and went too far but there was never any powder or paint like appearance.

If you are having issues with hotlegs, try tightening/securing the connections. It usually helps. My coils also looks a tad gray-ish when dryburned, but thats not TiO2, so no worries

But in the end when you're done, the colors are bluish, purplish, and brownish right? Because that's what I end up with lol

Very good info. I read this and discovered that I didnt really know that much when it came to titanuim wire. Thanks for posting this!
@StringBean30 that is limited in the escribe software. To raise the wattage just go to the mod tab and look for the electrical section. You'll see what I mean, good luck
