Hi all,
Just bought an hcigar VT75 last week. Downloaded Escribe, and did an update immediately. Now my problem. I'm currently using a Crown II .50 resistance. Cold the mod shows .56, okay not too much of a problem. But as I vape the ohms are constantly rising.. can't figure out why. I've even locked in the ohms. Which I'm not convinced is locked. It still rises. Any ideas?? This is my first dna chip.

It's not normal, the resistance displayed on the screen should stay the same if locked. Do you have the little lock symbol on the screen?

I think there have been more complains about those crown coils though, might want to look in to them a bit further. It sounds like a problem with the coil, tank or a bad 510 connection to me.

edit: wait, are you vaping in power mode when this happens? In that case it is normal. You can't lock the resistance in wattage mode.

Hi thank you, yes it's a SS coil. So this is a normal function of the DNA chip. I'm vaping in power mode as well. So it won't harm anything?? Thanks
Yep is fine to vape an SS coil in power mode and you will notice a bit of resistance change as the coil heats up.

Thank you Robert your right. I just put a Velocity with Kanthal .60 build it held within .1 ohm while vaping. As far as the Crown goes, I have not had any trouble with V1 or V2. And I also put a new coil in the Crown. And yes there is a lock symbol, and it still fluctuates. Thx guys
Even when locked some mods display actual ohms but use the locked value for their temp calculations.
