lack of nicotine will have the same effect as too much nicotine. headaches, nausea, cold/hot, shivers, itching, etc. Smoking for many years and the body will of course adjust to that!
Now cutting down or stopping and you deprive your body of something it got seriously used to and its like being hit by a sledgehammer. Will only last for a week or something.
You have to make sure you vape nicotine to the same level as you used to smoke.

Start removing things and ruling things out. Try vaping no flavor as it may just be that particular flavor or all flavors in general that doesn't agree with you..if that doesn't help try vaping a higher vg or pg..if that still doesn't help it's more then likely the nic or missing WTA that regular nic does not have. Too much nic can cause headaches and too little shortly after quitting smoking can also induce headaches. You just got to start removing things and reintroducing them one by one to narrow it down.

ETA-- be careful when folks assume your nic is too low, it may be, but everyone's nic tolerance varies and it simply may be too much for you...you just got to experiment.

3mg is what people chain vape in RDAs, you just quit smoking..........
who set you up like that? slap them

Have you had a look at the juice market lately? Many of the juices raved about here come in absurdly low nic levels. Vaping is moving itself from a smoking cessation aid to... well... I don't know what. It's not going to end well.

Thanks for your response. I agree with what you are saying and sounds good to me. I can smoke a pack a day of cigarettes but after vaping 3nic only a couple puffs I get that gross feeling. I think I will want a couple hours after hopefully after one of my last smokes and then once that nice has passed on a bit then try a dew puffs of the vape. I belive that the nicotine delivery through vaping hits me harder than the cigarettes. Thanks again so much.

I think it's too little nicotine . With a 1.8 ohm coil at 10 watts i would recomend 18 mg liquid for a pack a day smoker.
I have been vaping for a while now and use 8 mg at 36watts on a 0.5 ohm coil and that does me .
Hope your headache goes away try some pain killers it normaly helps. good luck.
I don't get a headache it just makes me feel like I have had to much nic after only taking a couple puffs off of 3nic which is low.

Can be a lot of things. Did you try different liquids? Maybe buy a pure PG for a couple of days and if it does not help a pure VG liquid, see if that makes a difference. Try a little higher nicotine level and vape less at a time.
Can just be your body adjusting to not getting all the other chemicals found in cigarettes.
Did you change any other habits at the same time? (Started sports or drinking whiskey:) ) etc.

Easy killer, the guys been on the forum for 3 whole days. Some people don't really know how this stuff works. I wouldn't go getting all accusatory yet.

Replies like this are going to drive me off this forum soon. (rant over)

One of the other threads has two pages of replies. Including responses by the OP to the replies. You want FUD spread around the forum?

At 3 wks after quitting, and at only 3mg, I'd guess it's simply nicotine withdrawal -- nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, same as caffeine, and caffeine withdrawal headaches are very well-known. And 3 wks corresponds to one of the bad spots after quitting -- 3 days, 3 wks, 3 months. Try a bit more nicotine, see if that helps. 3mg really isn't enough to prevent nicotine withdrawal.
