i am wondering what could be the cause of these nausea/headaches. just got into DIY and i got 3 capella flavors one i am vaping currently is Blue Raspberry cotton candy 70vg 30 pg 2mg nic 15% flavoring.
it has a VERY chemically taste and wondering if it is just the flavor or because 15% might be way too much of a flavoring. i have breathed this juice and steeping doesn't seem to do much flavor wise it's been steeping 3 days now. it has a really chemically taste the other flavors are just the same 20% or 15% all taste really awful and chemically even after breathing.

any suggestions am not sure if it is just due to the flavors i chose or it's because im adding way too much flavorings. tomorrow im going to try a 5% flavoring see what happens

no I don't wear gloves I am using 24mg strength but I don't think it is due to that because even after a few days I vape the juices I've mixed it makes me sick I know it's not the nic strength because 3mg I'm fine so only thing I can think of really is the flavoring or the amount of flavoring. just mixed a 5% batch 60vg 40pg 2mg nic seems to be less chemically but I didn't let it breath so I don't expect it to not be chemically atm. and yes I do drink a lot of water when vaping so I don't think it is dehydration which has been the issue in some cases. I think I am going to buy some new flavors this weekend preferably fruit only and try some pre made recipes on here because atm my DIY flavors/experiments have gotten me wanting to quit and go back to cigs.

Few flavors at whatever percentage do tend to that to me too.

Listen to your body and your mind.

Your body will tell you when something disagrees with you.
It appears the chemical nature of the flavor is upsetting you.

And your mind does say that something is really weird with the flavor.

So skip it and try another flavor or try unflavored till you wait for your next
batch of vape mail to come.

For one Cotton Candy is used instead of sweetener. It is not a flavor normally. I have never made a good juice with a single flavoring with sweetner. Best to go out and find a clone recipe that peeks your interest and order the flavoring to make it. CHEERS!

that really is a good point...

now-a-days most tend to buy nicotine in undilluted 100% versions
and extreme care should be undertaken when dilluting it

I think you meant 100mg nic, not 100%.

1000mg is 100% nicotine.

100mg is actually only 10% nicotine and that's the one most people use in DIY.

You may have just had a typo but I've noticed quite a few people don't know the difference.

I just re read your original post, I suspect too much flavoring. Some flavors are much more concentrated than others and where one company is very light and you might need 15% if you use certain brands that are super concentrated even 3% might be way too much.

I know certain flavours of foods make me sick from the smell or taste. Like others have said, let us in on what flavour/ brand etc. IT might help

i am using Capella's Blue Raspberry cotton candy, DX cinnamon roll ( this one tastes horrible imo but i think too much flavoring i thnk i mixed it at 15% as well ), and blueberry cinnamon crumble ( not bad but spicy hint of cinnamon more then anything again i think this is too strong 15% ). all by capella.

the pg/vg ratio's im fine with except one which is 50/50 but yea i think it is due to flavoring percentage. and yes i think the cotton candy is used as a sweetener or like a hint because it gives off VERY little flavor in general same with the other 2 flavors i bought.

i am going to try cloning some recipes on here buy new flavors and vape unflavored for now. the last batch i made is only 5% and it is okay less headaches almost as if im vaping unflavored.
