So lately whenever i wake up i have a horrible headache and then i smoke on my e cig for a couple minutes and it goes away.

Before when i was smoking cigarettes i never had this problem, but it also could be because i've been decreasing the amount of nicotine in my liquid every month and i'm just not used to it yet..

i'm thinking maybe it's because i've gone ___ hours without the nicotine so i wake up with a headache?

has anyone else ever had headaches in the morning that were curable by e cigs?

Your morning headache could be due to nicotine withdrawal. "Quitter's flu" is a term used to describe this phase of smoking cessation, because nicotine withdrawal symptoms often mimic a cold or a mild case of the flu.

Any (but usually not all) of the following are common symptoms:

  • Cravings to smoke
  • Irritable, cranky
  • Insomnia
  • Fatigue
  • Inability to Concentrate
  • Headache (emphasis mine)
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Constipation, gas, stomach pain
  • Dry mouth
  • Sore tongue and/or gums
  • Postnasal drip
  • Tightness in the chest
Headache is one of the symptoms which have been associated both with nicotine overdose and with cigarette withdrawal. From what you say, it is unlikely to be overdose.
