Quit smoking 4 years ago with e-cigs, then moved onto snus for the last 3+ years. Thought I'd get back into e-cigs to give my gums a break. Vaped all day yesterday but they gave me a headache & felt light headed all day. Guessing it was nicotine withdraw since the levels are so high in snus, went back on snus last night and the headache went away after a while. Was vaping 24mg

Trying to return the Provari I bought, too bad, worked great.

Hello,
I found that when i switched to electronics that i had massive withdrawals including muscle cramps, constipation and migrane type headaches. Stick with vaping they pass :). This is normal if you think about the amount of crap leaving your body, its not just nicotine that we become used to but 1000's+ of other toxins will have an effect on us when leaving the body. Drink plenty of water and keep hydrated, remember to keep consistently hydrated and not just play catch up. Another thing to keep in mind is the possibility of an allergy to the liquid you are using, from personal experience i found even when drinking plenty of fluid consistently i still had skin irritation and headaches, since switching to 100%VG both have gone. Failing that as pointed out its probably too much nicotine, try a lower strength.

I chain snus 12 mg portions now, doubt I am getting too much, in fact hitting it harder helped the headache a bit.

Based upon that, I'd guess that it may be your (normally constricted from a high nicotine habit?) blood vessels opening up a bit that's causing the headache. Not sure about the light-headedness, but a drop in blood pressure may do that.

I have a friend with a heavy caffeine habit that experiences similar problems when he can't get it. I also know someone who gets migraines when the barometric pressure drops quite a bit, which would probably have a similar effect.
