Really bad headaches...could it be from vaping?

I recently put down my e-cig for about a year and a half and took a break from vaping. The other day I got the urge to start again, and I filled up my e-cig and vaped all night Tuesday. An hour or so later I had the most terrible headache, that I went to sleep with and slept off. Then yesterday afternoon, I decided to get a new juice that was fresh (I thought maybe the last one I used might have been expired) and the new ones I got both had 0mg nicotine in them. Anyway, I vaped all night again last night (Wednesday) and around pretty late in the AM got the horrible headache again. I thought I'd sleep it off again but this time its stayed all day into today. Its so bad that I need to take painkillers for it by this point.
I'm just so upset and confused, is there anyway these headaches could have been caused by my vaping?? Has this ever happened to anyone else? Until I figure out why I'm having these symptoms I'm afraid to pick up my e-cig again. :(

I know its a blend of both, but I'm not sure of the exact ratio. Thing is though, its the same brand of juice that I was using in the past (before I took my long break) and I never used to get this reaction before. I suppose its possible that my sensitivity has changed in a year? Or maybe I went straight back to vaping for way too long instead of starting at small amounts and building up tolerance? It seemed silly to think that you would need a tolerance for vapor, but I guess some of the ingredients in the juice possibly..

I had a headache the first few days. I think it was withdrawal from all the other crappy chemicals. Coffee and tylenol helped but I kept vaping and the headaches went away, as well as the vapors tongue and all that. Of course, any chemical in your body, including vaping chemicals, can cause a a reaction to your body differently than others. I would try what others have said, but my headache went away once the analog garbage cleared.

As well as the suggestions above, it could be dehydration. When vaping, especially chain vaping it's very important to drink plenty of water because the vapor acts as a sponge and will dry you out pretty fast.

On top of that, I have one flavor, it's a straight up strong coffee... if I vape even two or three hits I will instantly get a headache. I've chalked it up that I just don't agree with that flavor, from that vendor. Pretty frustrating too, it's actually very good haha.

So my advice would be to A.) Drink plenty of water, B.) Try switching your flavors and don't use whatever flavor you got the headache on. If all is well, in a few days, try that flavor again. If you get a headache you know you've identified the culprit. If not, then you know it was just dehydration!

Vape well, vape often :vapor:

Lol, yes I forgot to mention that I had been chain-vaping. And no I was not drinking much water.. I honestly didn't even know about that. I'll try drinking a lot tonight and see if I feel better. As for the juice, I'm pretty sure the place I went to last night has 100% VG flavors, at least a couple. And I know you can get them custom made in online stores. That's definitely something I'm going to try too, although like I said, I used to smoke blends previously and never got this reaction so it seems strange. Thanks for the helpful advice everyone.

People can suddenly develop an allergy to something that had never bothered them previously. I've heard of people not having a single allergy until their 50's then suddenly they're allergic to pollen, animal dander, dust, etc... Try VG of the same flavor and brand. A reaction would let you know it's the flavor, no reaction would mean it's PG.
