I believe a relevant post I made in Media. How the USA propaganda has influenced vaping elsewhere:
Vaping Demystified
Thanks. We did share that video back on March 11th on our other social media, but didn't share it again in this thread because BillW50 had already shared it here.

REVERSING BAD POLICY: Kudos to KY lawmakers for eliminating ONE unfair tax! And although they said JUUL & flavors are driving the "teen vaping epidemic," anti-vaping zealots now claim losing tax on already PRICEY & UNFLAVORED hardware will "attract kids."

Tax removed from e-cig hardware sold separately from liquid

TAKING ACTION: Health orgs have irrationally switched focus from helping people who want to quit smoking to "taking down" industry. Today they are having "Take Down Tobacco Day." Use #TakeDownTobacco today to "roast" THEM for losing sight of PUBLIC HEALTH. Tell a joke. Tell your story. But don't stay silent. Together, our voices are stronger!

COMMON SENSE: AND those children are at greater risk of becoming teens who smoke than those in non-smoking homes.

Maybe stop focusing on teen experimentation (those least likely to smoke) & instead enable parents who can't or won't quit to switch to MUCH SAFER, SMOKE-FREE nicotine products?

COMMENTARY: (CLIVE BATES) "Public health advocates should be working out what system of incentives would expedite this [industry transition to low risk alternatives], but the tobacco companies are just too useful as the bad-guys in the story to do that."

Holding the Bloomberg anti-vaping propaganda complex to account

VAPING RESEARCH: Another #vaping study that once again demonstrates the complete lack of consideration for the potential of harm reduction over abstinence and a fundamental ignorance of the products their subjects are using vs. available alternatives.

What about open systems and lowering nicotine strength to quit (if that is what the vaper wants)?

And then there's this: "There is an urgent need for development of interventions to help individuals quit vaping, regardless of their cigarette smoking status."

VAPING RESEARCH: CDC releases study of vaping among US workers, not only based on old data from before its EVALI malfeasance, but also filled with LIES about effectiveness and risks, seemingly designed to give employers ammunition to hassle workers who vape.

INDIANA: (HEADS UP!) Senate GOP budget (to be unveiled next week) likely to impose new tax on low risk vapor products with no cigarette tax increase, which Sen. Bray Rodric says brings them "into parity" with cigarettes, completely ignoring harm reduction!

WEST VIRGINIA: (HEADS UP!) Proposed income tax overhaul predicted to get over 4X more revenue from the tobacco & low risk vapor products purchased mainly by low-mid income residents ($86 mil) than luxury items purchased by wealthiest residents ($20 mil).

For more on the ridiculousness of the 75¢ per mL vapor tax, read this article from Filter Mag.

"But tucked into the bill...is a hike in the e-cigarette tax, to 75 cents per milliliter. In other words, a 100 milliliter bottle would carry a tax of $75."

ANTI-VAPING TACTICS: These groups know targeting local lawmakers & health departments eventually gets them state laws (death by a thousand cuts.) And the fact they admit businesses can & do ban smoking/vaping without needing a law to do so speaks volumes!
