I noticed my various batteries weren't making contact with the coil despite pulling up on the battery terminal.

I noticed the coil was slightly below flush with the adaptor. Took the coil out and dremeled the threaded collar down about 1mm. Now it makes for a much more reliable connection, no matter what battery or replacement coil is used.

Nice does it score your battery pin at all ? I rarely use my pts anymore but with cotton wicks and not having to fumble with connection pulling maybe I throw a few in circulation. Those new attys with the plastic insulators instead of rubber made me retire mine. The pins pull way to easy and come completely out to easy. Then its recoil time or if your lucky it goes back in and makes connection. Ok if your home but at work or on the road tended to ruin my vape day. Thx for the info
