Health Issues Anyone?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone of you started to have health issues after you started vaping?
I've a small problem, every time when i exhale the vapour, there will be a stinging feel at the back of my throat. It feels kinda painful and felt that there's an ulcer @ the back of my throat.
Is this due to the nicotine content, PG and/or VG?

I've read the other forums regarding this and they say that it takes time for the body to get accustomed to the feeling of vapour.

I'm currently using my friend's Janty TOB-H as my pre-filled RY4 tanks are depleted.
My kit is a Janty JETS set.

:confused::confused::confused:

There was another thread started under today' posts about the use of pg and vg and a lot of people using pg and having health issues. I am not quite sure exactly sure on which page but to me it was very interesting reading as I am having some health issues myself after only been vaping a couple of months. I sure hope you can find that thread.

PG is a skin irritant and some people are more sensitive to it than others. Those that are will often add VG to their liquids or use straight VG liquids to counter it.

There are different types of burning in the throat. One type is the throat hit from the nicotine which has a peppery sensation to it. Another is from certain minty liquids which is more of a spicy burn and then there is burnt atty...the worst, which comes from the cartridge or cartomizer getting too dry and burning the atomizer. This is an almost painful burn along with what most describe as a burnt marshmellow flavor.

Experimenting with a few different flavors, PG/VG levels and nicotine strenghs should help you discover what will be the most comfortable for you. Just always make sure to keep your atomizer wet.

I play safe using 50/50 PG/VG. Once it runs out, I will use 100% VG.
After 1 mth and 10 days of vaping, no known health issues to date.
However, bloody gums during brushing and thicker layer of yellowish muck on the tongue is pretty common in the mornings since vaping.

Also a common issue with dehydration. A dry mouth is a breeding ground for bacteria. My gums have improved since i started vaping, but I had yuck mouth syndrome a lot in the beginning before I upped my water intake.

Yup....my water intake is about 1.5l daily excluding other forms of beverages. Not too sure if that's enuf to rid/reduce the stuff on the tongue though. It could be excessive vaping that caused it.

heard from somewhere that vaping will cause you to have stained teeth. not too sure about that, i was vaping outside when a friend told me about it. anyone can verify this?

LOL... will the stain be as bad as smoking? I only reaalise the stain on the teeth cause by smoking going lesser instead of getting more.

Unless you eat and don't Brush teeth, that will also stain your teeth.
