Thanx for the advice. This is also something that has crossed my mind. I've just joined this site today, it's interesting to hear that lots of other people also suffer with similar problems as me, I've not met anyone who has problems with vaping, it just seemed to be me. Darren
Well people DO have problems with vaping, if they have a sensitivity to a flavor or to PG, etc.
However, anyone who was ever a smoker SHOULD get "scoped" anyway, since smoking does do airway/esophageal damage, and scoping will also tell the gastro if you have reflux/GERD/hiatal hernia, etc. It may be something very simple, as in latter case, it's somewhat anatomical, ie. the seal around where your esophagus meets stomach is gets loose and some of the acid backs up. Some people never even have heartburn or anything, but develop this persistent cough. It feels like something in the airway, but it actually isn't.
You can certainly try vaping unflavored nicotine pg/vg solution for 2-3 weeks and see if it goes away, thus ruling out one of your flavorings.
Going w/out nic is probably not a good solution! You may end up back on ciggies
IT will take you at least 2-3 weeks to get appt. with a gastro anyway, so may as well get started on the unflavored nic solution.
