Health related question about nickotine

I may need surgery soon and my Doctor says I should avoid nicotine because I will get a bone graft and nicotine will slow down the growth of the bone.

Is the nick in my E cigs the same type as a analog cig?
I am hoping its harmless

Sorry, but e-cigarettes contain "real" nicotine, and will cause the same bone-growth problems as cigarettes. Nic gum, and the patch also have the same negative effect on bone regrowth.

However, you could still vape 0-nic juice, which might help satisfy cravings somewhat, and yet won't harm the healing.

Yup, it's the same nic as in smokes. I've read about this issue with bone healing before and it's significant. If I were you I would reduce to zero nic and tough it out. If you have some time before the surgery, do it in steps. I took a few months to get to zero when I did it, but even if you have only a couple of weeks, you might be surprised at how easy it is. And it is for a good cause

Yes it is the same, so you should get e liquid with none nicotine, i know is not the same taste but...
