I understand that the reason we are all E-smoking in the first place is to protect our health, but I still have doubts that this isnt as healthy as its cut out to be. What is being inhaled is steam, and steam has extremely high kinetic energy. I notice that when I let it cool down inside my mouth before inhaling it minimizes the throat and lung hit. And when it hits hard it isnt the cigarette kind of strong hit, but a burning, stinging hit. Im on 34mg, so that just might be the issue, but Im still wondering if theres anything bad about this stuff.

Well logic tells us it couldn't be any worse than tobacco smoking...but none of us can know that with 100% certainty.......the only thing that does seem certain is that we are nearly all feeling the same kind of lung capacity improvements that we would expect to get from becoming a non-smoker and there are no signs of any short term bad effects.

Having quit before, I can definitely tell that vaping is helping in my situation. My wheezing has stopped (which wasn't constant but I could hear it on occasion) and I feel generally better than I have in a while. It will take more time from the effects of the tar / analog crap to work it's way out of my system but I can already tell my sense of smell is returning to normal as is taste. I slept very well last night for the first time since I started smoking again, not sure the reasons but I was out like a light and didn't wake up 3-4 times like I normally do.

It might be safer than tobacco smoking, we don't know, there are no scientific studies or clinical trials to test the effects of esmoking.

We can take in massive doses of nicotine which is a toxin
We don't know what prolonged inhaling of propylene glycol does
ditto glycerine
ditto all the other additives and flavourings in eliquid
We don't know how the cocktail of chemicals we inhale interacts

We don't know the implications of breathing the chemicals given off by the burning coil wick as it degrades
We don't know what type of plastics are used for storage or cartridges and if they leach chemicals into the eliquid
We don't know what chemicals are given off by cartridge fillers when they are heated or burned

So, basically we don't know if esmoking is safe. Lots of us think it is probably safer than smoking tobacco but that's opinion, not science.

When you see the advertising saying esmoking is safe or safer, it's unfounded claims, there is no proof. Ask the seller what is the basis of the statement ... they usually try to fob you off with Ruyan specific research which only applies to Ruyan eliquid.

i understand your concerns, i had the same, its almost too good to be true that I can get the same satisfaction from an e cig as i did from an analog yet its deemed to be alot safer. Ive come to the conclusion that even though e cigs have not yet been fully tested, it cant possibly be worse than smoking tobbaco. If i was in a burning building ,that wouldnt be good, but id much rather jump from the 1st floor than the 10th, you get me?
I also think that at the moment there is scaremongering in the press regarding e cigs probably instigated by the bans made in austrailia and the usa on nicotine liquid. Also, im sure, the tobacco companies are seriously getting worried about their potential loss in sales and governments worrying about their loss in taxes, we live in a greedy world after all.
My daughters mother has been a smoker for 25years, i told her about e cigs a few weeks ago and she was all for buying one until her father read somewhere they could be dangerous, so now she wont try it. I was amazed at the ignorance of her father, he would rather his own daughter kill herself with tobacco than try something that as yet has gone untested but on the face of it id far healthier. Basicly, some people are to ignorant to try this.
