Anyone?

I don't usually get heart burn and if I do it's very mild. Been smoking E-Cigs 2 weeks, first week was fine. The last 5-6 days I've been getting pretty bad heart burn every once and awhile. It doesn't last to long and I'm not sure it's related to vaping but wanted to see if others have the same thing. My diet hasn't changed (except for analogs) so it makes me think it IS from the E-Cig

I have experienced the same thing but it has subsided the past day or two. Been vaping for about three weeks.

I got heartburn too, but it lasted maybe only a week. I think a lot of the 'side effects' we feel during the first month or so has a lot to do with detox and our bodies getting used to not having 4000+- chemicals being pumped into it multiple times a day!

I had 'digestive issues' for a couple days, heartburn for about a week, and a few days of being in a really foul mood...but other than that the switch to PVs has been relatively smooth. Much easier than other method of quitting smoking.

Once I flooded my atty and didn't realize it. I took a puff and swallowed a mouthful of 24mg juice. It gave me HORRIBLE heart burn. Like, the worst heartburn ever. So, it might be a side affect. Especially if you drip and you tend to get some juice in your mouth every now and then.

i dont really know if i would call it heartburn , but i get a really nasty acidic kind of taste in my throat after a while. coffee or a toothbrush seems to help , but i popped a tums the other day and it was pretty much gone. i dont really know what heartburn feels like , i like hot stuff , so i cant say i have ever had "heartburn" ...just that acidy nasty taste in my throat...

Heartburn can be caused by too much smoking as well - Ive had both from it and vaping and the culprit is usually too miuch nic in a short space of time, or swallowing too much air while smoking/vaping so you get nic/smoke etc in the stomach instead of lungs.
Slow down a hair on the vaping and take longer slower drags (or just slower ones) - if possible leave a slightly longer gap between vaping (say 3 mins instead of 1 lol).
Take over the counter things like 'tumms' if its bad - it will pass but you do need to watch your nic intake and vaping technique.
Disclaimer: Some pople will get this reaction even on low low nic levels (they are just sensitive to it) and will either have to deal with it or find a workaround.

I did start getting more heartburn after I got my first e-cig last week, but it's not caused by the vaping alone, it seems it's a little more complicated in that other complicating factors must also be present: in my case, I felt the heartburn only on those days when I had some soup with pepper in it for lunch (always a different kind of soup). :p I used to put pepper in my soup all the time without getting heartburn, but now it seems the vaping has made this a problem (hopefully only a temporary one).

And no, for me this has nothing at all to do with "detoxing" from the smoking products because I've been virtually smoke-free for 3.5 years. In fact, I think it's profoundly mistaken, this - sadly quite popular - self-deluding rationalization that every side-effect noticed after starting to vape must be a withdrawal effect from quitting smoking. No, vaping probably has its own very real side-effects that are not related to previous smoking behaviour, let's not kid ourselves here.

I'm getting the same thing. I have it as we speak, this isn't typical for me. So, when someone finds out the reason please share! :D

Like another poster stated, the heartburn and other side effects are probably more related to the fact that your body is going through normal cigarette withdrawal symptoms. When people quit smoking cold turkey it is not uncommon for a person to get very sick. Not having all those chemicals that your body is used to has an extreme effect on your immune system. Not unlike people going through drug rehab for hard drug use. Some might even say that cigarette withdrawal symptoms are worse than that of alcohol withdrawal.

I'm on the opposite end. Since I starting vaping, I've had less heartburn than normal. I usually get a few attacks spread over the course of the day... for the past week I've had MAYBE 3 attacks total.

This has been true for me as well. And I didn't notice it until today. I was on my way to school, which is about 25 miles from my house, and half way there, my battery went dead. I only have two batteries, and the other one was home on the charger:mad:. So, I stopped by a store and picked up a pack of analogs (had a math test tonight and was REALLY stressed about it). When I was half way through the analog, I got really bad heartburn, which I tend to have all the time anyway. And it hit me then: I had barely had heartburn at all while I vaped exclusively (which has been close to a month now). I couldn't wait to get home to my charged battery!
