im thinking of getting a copper or stainless steel 510 heat sink... To prevent scratches on mod and keep it cooler... Anyone know which one is better at keeping heat away from the mod ? I assume its stainless steel, since i believe copper conducts heat much better than ss, then another question is whats the point of a copper heat sink if you want the heat to stay with the atty or dissipiate thru the fins and not transfer faster to the mod

If you want to keep heat away from the mod use an insulating material like a delrin washer. SS is the better choice out of the two listed though. BTW those little fins won't do anything unless air is moving through them

the Doge v1 and V2 competition drippers have built in heat sinks. Im using one with a itazte mvp 3.0 pro at 60 watts .4ohm dual coil and I've had no issues .

The one shown is the Doge V1 on my MVP pro

And in theory should radiate it faster as well with equal airflow over the fins?
Or at least conduct it to the fins faster.
It is more a matter of mass in reality though for the OP's use.
It would be better to keep the heat in the atty where there happens to be a source of aircooling. A sink with no fan or wind would only act as a thermal capacitor. I guess if you vape while jogging...

Ive seen some drippers now come with a fan that goes under the drip top, im really interested in getting one and trying that out. As well as a clear glass pyrex RDA. I figure the pyrex won't get too hot. But that's just an assumption...

Don't expect the fan to do anything but make noise.

the one i saw had a fan the goes under the drip tip that looked like a fan for a computer tower, i think Rip trippers did a review for it. i could be mistaken, but yeah that looks sweet
