This is just for the heatvape defender peeps or if you are interested in them. had mine a week now and all good. using mine with an Arctic tank at 0.5 ohms. seem to work great together. never got the lock to work as it says in the manual but not to worry i just turn it off when I put it in my pocket.
anyway have a nice day and keep vaping.

Only had my defender 36 watt a week today but it is working great. using it at 35 watts with a sub ohm 0.5 ohm coil and it rocks. been charging it on a 2.1 amp usb wall adapter and seems ok with that. Any way will be good to here from someone who has had one a while and see how it's holding up. The man who sold it to me said it comes with a 3 month guarantee which is good. must have faith in the product.
Have a nice day.

I have had a 25watt for about 5 months. Not a single problem with it although I tend to use it as a backup device rather than one of my go-to devices. The size is great for carrying around. I also found that the istick 20 sleeve will fit on the device. Tight getting it on but everything is in the correct spots.

I've had my defender 50 for about a month now. Still going strong. Only issue is not being able to lock the settings, but less of an issue than I had originally thought. I got used to locking my istick regularly as it has a tendency to change on a whim. On the defender I've started to appreciate not having to unlock / lock every time I want to adjust wattage.

Thats not bad so far 5 months isn't' bad going so far. The way i look at it is if i can get six months out of mine i'll be happy but obviously the longer the better. I paid 35 quid for mine which i think was a good price and it came with a three month guarantee which is pretty good . never heard of the defender before i stepped in the shop where i bought it . when it bites the dust i'll take a look at the 50 watt but i should imagine by then it'll be the 100 watt. i like the idea of a disposable unit at the right price . my budget for a year is 100 quid on mods so 2 or three defenders a year is what i'm looking at spending.

Still can't get the lock function to work on my defender 36 watt. Watched a video on you tube and it looks easy. Am I doing something wrong or is there a fault on my device. Will be going back to the shop in a few days and will see if the shop keeper can help. It's not a deal breaker just a minor annoyance. It says it does it in the manual so should work. I have tried pressing the plus button at the same time as the fire button and all it does is fire but no lock. If someone could tell me where I'm going wrong it would put me out of my misery. Thanks

Yeah I love mine too. Picked up the mvp2 to do a comparison and it's like night and day. The defender is way ahead and cheaper. Will have to get another one as a spare . Paid 35 quid for my 36watt version and am more than happy with it. The Arctic tank i got for it is also awesome. The defender drives the 0.5 ohm coil with no problem. Happy days .

Hey kat darling your defenders look great. How long you had them. Mine was 2 weeks old on Friday. The best ecig decision i have made so far.

Thank you, pfaber. I really adore these little guys. Ergonomically, they are just perfect for me. There's something about the rounded sides and the center connector that just "feels" so right. Perhaps it's that the design is somewhere between a tube mod and a box mod....or in DPL speak, a bube mod. o_O

How long have I had them...... one moment please. I shall return with answers. :)

I think my next one has gotta be a 50w or even 100 watt. Will not be upgrading until I've got six months out of this one though. Really like the form factor and style of the defender. When I went to buy it i was going to get an. I stick30 but the guy showed me the defender and it seemed the better choice in terms of performance and looks was slightly more expensive by 3 quid but really wanted it. And the rest is history.

Understood! I might have gone for the 50w as well, but I'm just crazy about the black waves, and the 50 didn't have that option.

I have a few 'Sticks, too, but I find they are making their way to the back of the line more and more these days. They were GREAT when they first hit the scene, but I'm preferring the Defenders, hands down.

I got my first (a 36w) June 2th, and a second one the end of last month.

And the rest is HERstory. ;)

I'm running mine with an arctic tank at 35 watts on an 0.5 ohm coil just hope i'm not pushing it too hard . it's the best vape i've ever had . I had to cut my juice 50 50 with glycerin as it was too harsh at 18 mg but it is a really nice vape at 9 mg and very satisfying . got the tank at the same time which was 20 quid . 35 watts seems to work great . the tank came with a 0.5 ohm coil and a 0.2 ohm but i asked the guy if he could change the 0.2 for a 0.5 which he did as the defender will not go down that far. still on my first coil after 2 weeks and 2 days and still vaping like new , didn't expect to get that long out of it so a real plus. going through 10 ml of juice a day though so quite thirsty but glycerin is cheap so not such a bad thing. to be honest i dont think i need any more watts as i'm getting a good enopugh vape on what i've got .
vape on
