My 14 month-old Hana doesn't need any stepping up. It works as well today as the day it arrived. I'm quite satisfied with it. No glitches, no bugs, nothing odd-or-unusual about it. I press, it fires. We have a good relationship, it and I.

You mean to say you actually use your Hana when you have 2 perfectly good EPMs to use?

The nerve!!

LOL!

I do, yes, Mr. bGT. I didn't say it gets a LOT of use, but yes, I still use all my mods (pretty much) daily. They're spread about the house, actually, with Hana having the overnight shift.

I'm guessing you're not sitting exclusively on one either, si?

Cool thank for the info retird. There is a reason they call it hearsay. The second link sure looks like an approved trademark too me, dated today. With a second one pending if am reading this right. Good for Hana no doubt they make a very nice mod. China does need to stay away from trademark infringement no if and or butts. Maybe Hana will step up there game some that will be good for all.

Good luck with that trademark.
Hanna Instruments have been a leader in electronic instruments for over 30 years.
They are not a small company.

They don't make mods.

Maybe I could sell a beverage and call it "Peppsie".

No.

I use the EPM with my favorite juice (Rumble Seat by Flathead Fluid - Salted Caramel Kettle Corn) so it's with me a lot, but I use all manner of MODs in a day.

I have 2 of the Hana clones that get daily use, a Brimstone DNA30, a Sigelei 20W, and various mechs. The only stuff I have that doesn't get daily use are my eGos (which don't get any use at all).

I was just giving you a hard time! :)

Im not an TM/IP guy but I believe there is an element of potential market place confusion that has to be in play. But again, not sure where that legal test becomes applicable.

Ya that was my point.
Hana mods might be okay as long as they keep their heads down.
But making a huge legal play for the rights to "Hana" used to sell an electronic control box might confuse customers into thinking a reputable company (Hanna instruments) made the box mod.
The H logo is even somewhat similar. Better hope HI's legal depot doesn't like VW vaping
:D

Hana mods might get a C&D letter themselves.

Maybe, but maybe not.
Hanna Instruments does not sell eCigs. Further more Hana Mods does not sell devices for measuring chemicals. The odds of the two being sold brand new right next to each other in a situation that would lead a consumer to confuse one for the other is very unlikely.

Common sense says you are right.
However, legally an argument could be made.

I have one of the Hana 30 clones.
They are okay. Many quirks.
I didn't think Hana had problems selling their mods.
(Their web store is always out of stock).
It's also just a DNA chip in an aluminum box.

I have noticed that mine will randomly power up. I have noticed that mine will decrease by .1 watt when powering on. 2 clicks to power on. It is not something that happens 100 percent of the time. Probably only about 10 percent of the time if that. I know these are previously mentioned, but just thought that I would share that it is for sure an issue. On a side note, I'm not upset with my purchase. Can't really beat it for $70.

I've had mine now for just under a full day with 8 hours of solid use with it from all my devices but one an Omaga clone with a fixed 510 connect pin. Now this particular clone only works on adjustable 510 devices so kind of expected it since didn't work on my vamo or lambo either without using adjustable air intake or 510/ego converter.

I have also notice that mine's ohm reading is dead on to a point. For example a 1.60 ohm coil will show as 1.6 on the Modz and can be set to 10.0 watts without blinking when fired. However a 1.67 ohm coil will also show as 1.6 ohm but will blink at 10.0 watts and stops a 10.1 watts which tells me it is reading it to the nearest 100 of an ohm. This can be checked with a good ohm meter, good ohm calculator as anything below 4 volts, the ohms will blink on this clone and the DNA 30 by design even though it will fire but uses the voltage available in the battery only. That is if I'm understanding how they both operate.

I haven't had to double click to get out of sleep mode but do have to click once and them fire to use. So far my only real complaint with its operation is the amount of time it takes holding down the +- buttons to go from either lock/unlock modes.

Now some designs I would like to see changed are the buttons especially the fire button. I would like it bigger and flatter. I do like the layout of the +- buttons as going from right to left mode the buttons unlike some others it doesn't matter. Now with that said, I would like to see them keep the +- buttons the same size but a bit flatter also. I have problem with the rounded buttons sometimes but a personal thing for me.

A few problems here, if you were to look at the second link posted by Retird or my second sentence. You would see that Hana Modz has an approved trademark still pending finalization, w/e that means, that's the work of a lawyer which I am not. Second H.I. will need to show harm or proof of intended harm. Seeing as they don't sell like products or even close, Good luck with that :p.

Can they sue yea sure but on what grounds ? for what damages ? HI have lost nothing so they have nothing to gain. Hate on Hana all you want. I can list a few reason myself. Let not go overboard here.

Had my Hana mod about a week now.. sadly it came with the logo on as i was going to get my stenciled and thought ok just need to remove the logo. Got out the dremel and it turns out the logo isnt printed over the top but rather within a stencil of the main colour so its just bare aluminium underneath it. means an entire sand down and respray if i want to air brush the stencil i have on it.

quirks.. well no real ones to speak of. slight delay when it fires up from the off screen to the hana modz logo appearing then it firing but other than that the only real change i would make is the fire butotn is a little hard on the finger/thumb and the battery meter i would have as a percentage display to give a better indication .

Haha hilarious its suppose to be a clone too long to lock unlock wattage setting, and the dome button is too small its a CLONE take it out and drill the hole bigger replace with a nice switch.

Whats with all this logo BS hands up how many bought atties with logos and no complaint? who cares about some lame lawsuit the dragon rolls on the hanas i saw were made like crap awful a credit to american manufacturing what a joke, to hard to drill a hole for the charge light? I am in 2 minds after retro fitting a chana with an evolv dna to send it in to them and show them how to construct them properly makes the Vaporshark look like NASA made it.

I can't discern anything from that post. It reads like a 3 year old wrote it.

Beat me to it. I tried to mentally place some punctuation marks to break up all the run on sentences but then my brain started to hurt so I let it go.
