So my killer 705 showed up today along with two killer clones by rainbow heaven.

So far impressed by both. Build quality on both units are great with smooth threads and a clean finish but there is one thing that makes me almost like the clone better. The adjustable center pin. If I open the flow control 100% on the killer I get no connection on my provari (yes I know an adjustable pin on the mod could fix this).

The only downsides to the clone is the flow control holes might be slightly smaller but seem to wick ok with gorilla juice. I have all three in tanks so can't do a side by side, was way to impatient to do that. That and no ceramic shipping with them.

Basically I just want to give a shout out to ecf again for the mass amounts of information on our toys. These things would have been a nightmare of a setup if it hadn't been for this community. Especially since the RH clones didn't come with the ceramics.

So thanks everyone!

silver is pretty soft, so that could be the issue. also, i find that 32 gauge is as big as you can go without making the ceramic too tight and possibly cut the wire. i even had to sand the ceramics inner part where the center pole goes, was just so damn tight. you might try the same so you can use the silver, might just be the fact that its too tight to accommodate the wire.

With the added space below the ceramic are getting any flooding issues? Or are you just leaving extra wick and.stuffing it?

I did learn tank size and wick count makes a huge difference. A single 3mm wick straight through on a 25mm tank will flood stupid easy with 100%vg. To the point that I'm thinking about stuffing extra wick below it to slow the feed down some.

I have a RH clone. Can't seem to get it set up right. What gauge wire are you using and how many wraps? I prefer a coil under 2.5 ohms. Tried 30 gauge, still no vapor. What a pain.

If your not getting any vapor, the problem might be with the juice control. It may not be feeding the wick enough. Try dripping from the top like you would a dripper to see if it produces vapor. If it doesn't, then it's how you set it up. I use a 50/50 pg/vg juice and keep the juice control open as far as I can without losing contact with the base. Also, I'm sure everyone has read already that the RH clones have a rubber insulator in the 510 pin at the bottom that has to be removed. It restricts any airflow when connected to your mod.

Ive used both 30 (1.8) and 32 (2.5). Ive not had any issues since I started using more wick to stop the flooding. I will say that less wick across the coil area makes for a better puff.

Are you getting dry hits or just weak?

Haven't put it in a tank yet, wanted to try it first to get it where I like it. Very weak hit. Used 32, 30, 34. I have been using rbas since bulli came out with the A2, so I am experienced. But this little thing has me baffled.

Thank you for reminding me about that.

where's the best place to buy a RH Killer 705 in the US or Canada?

Got mine from silicawicks.com for $20. Co-op or group buys would be best if you can stand the wait. I think the co-op I did with bucky was only $5.78 ea and ceramics were .50 cents a pop.
