The first wire i would throw in it would definitely be Geek vape pre made clapton wire. Probably a 5 wrap around a 3mm.

i would try a pair of these out with some clapton wire
each coil would have its own juice channel

How did you build this coil? Do you have a name for it? I am intrigued...if there is a tutorial video, I'd like to watch..please share it with me if you knew....

It is the same type of build as I posted for my one entry......a Clapton. He just used a larger gauge wire for the outer wrap...looks like mabe a 28 or 26 gauge?

This is my current build on my Griffin, 28/32 claptons 2.5id. I was cleaning and re-wicking my coils...

How did you build this coil? Do you have a name for it? I am intrigued...if there is a tutorial video, I'd like to watch..please share it with me if you knew....

I do one similar, by doing a 12 wrap, then bending in the middle, so the top ends up making an S shape....to do his type, you start your first coil, then leave a small space, and continue with the next coil wrapping in the opposite direction.

I would like to try a vertical claptons build, probably similar to my horizonatl set-up except go to 3mm id. I think it would end up being a nice build.

A lot of folks like diagonal coils... they kinda direct the vapor upwards. Or, that's the theory. It's a lot easier to do now on two post/four hole decks.
