I do one similar, by doing a 12 wrap, then bending in the middle, so the top ends up making an S shape....to do his type, you start your first coil, then leave a small space, and continue with the next coil wrapping in the opposite direction.

I am more of a flavor chaser who appreciates a good cloud. Quality over quantity.
I think I would feel more confident building my first coils if I had something like one of those nifty Coiler kits ... and one of those Kits that come with ceramic tweezers, wire cutters, atomizer testers.... Those are on my Wish List!![]()
