My first and so far only experience wit TC is a 40w Eleaf with Steam Crave Aromamizer running SC100 0.3 dual coil.
Having used the original evic for 3 years vs the Itaste for 2 weeks, I really cant make a definitive decision yet as to whether Im a convert.
The lung hit is nice but the coils are a bit on the expensive side.
Maybe Ill become a convert with time and having experimented with different coils, but for now Ill just have to reserve a definitive opinion for a later date. But isnt experimenting with different vaping gear part of the fun ?

I guess I'm in the Vape Rookie category because I use all my devices in variable wattage mode rather than TC mode and I haven't yet felt the need to venture into the world of rebuilding coils.
For almost 14 months now I've successfully replaced smoking around 45 to 60 cigarettes per day with vaping at around 15 to 18 watts. And the best part is - it works for me !!!! I've not had a single cigarette since my very first vape after 40+ years of cigarette smoking and never once having tried to give them up. My theory is there's no need to fix something that isn't broken and is working very well so I'll very happily remain in the rookie class for the time being, if that's what it is called nowadays.
My absolute favorite setup at the moment is a hands down winner for my vaping style. Its the istick 60 watt mod combined with Aspire Triton 1.8 ohm kanthal coils in Eleaf's Melo 2 tanks. It's just a superb vape (for me) between 15 - 18 watts depending on which particular juice I'm using at the time, but I tend to lean heavily towards my DIY tobaccos and particularly tobacco custards.

Thank you, Rsunderl. I really do NOT have any TC experience, as I think it's a mode de vape of things to come, perhaps. It's not for me at this point. I'm quite happy to have found my sweet spot with vaping, and as long as there is a "V" in the mod title (voltage or wattage), I'm a happy kitty.
My vape experience? Oh boy.... nearly 5 years now, and a very shaky beginning with cigalikes, then eGos, then fatter and better and more powerful.
At this point, I relinquished my karto kween title, only to replace it with my blister packin' kween title.

Thanks for the tag Mr @nicaholic from the land down under. I really have no desire to get into TC though. I am happy as can be with my mechanical REOs and my BB. I went to REOs to be completely ready for the vapocalypse should it arrive. Once I get my nic stash built up, no one can stop me from vaping. Muahahaha hehehe
