Helios dual coil... Put both coils on same side? only 1 air hole

I'm playing around with my drippers lately... I have a helios clone from ft, it only has 1 air hole. So if I build dual coils, do I put them on the same side of the posts? and position the air hole in the center of the coils?

Or put a coil on opposite sides of the post, but only have air intake over 1 coil and nothing over the second coil?

One air hole !? That sucks ! I don't see how you could get adequate airflow to both coils on one side.

I know right..... it has a afc ring, which I drilled out 1 hole to match the size of the hole in the body, but only 1 air intake....... seems like dual coils aren't going to work right.

Oh lawd ! That clone looks tough to work with. I have the authentic Helios, but EHPro has the identical design. EHPro Helios RDA

I would definitely put both coils on same side in front of air intake, but you may be better off with a single micro.

Funny that a RDA specifically made for dual coils only has one airflow. You can definitely make duals on the same side or drill a hole into the other side...

Both coils on one side will work. Mount near Air Hole like this - /\ actually about 45 degrees.
Wrap cotton around the coil closing off the lower ends and exposing the upper ends.
Vapor will be directed to the center of the dripper.

Just drill out a hole on the opposite side. This will save you in the future because if you don't now then it's just a matter of time before you do. I highly recommend it as your builds will become very easy with no hassle

I may have to drill another hole... I put both coils on the same side of the post, angled up toward the center of the top cap, air hole in the center of the 2 coils... not impressed. And honestly not making the crazy vapor I was expecting it to be.

I'm guessing the coils are just too far apart. I run side by side duals in my RSST but they're almost touching so the air flow goes over both of them completely. So yes, you can use duals with a single air hole.

I also have the EHPro version and love it, you may want to pick one as the can be had for less than $20. Have tried many different coil configurations and have settled on a dual coil twisted 28ga at .26 ohms (on opposite sides lol) and have been running that for a while. My $.02.
