VHO Helios Question

That's an excellent deal, I paid $115 for mine at vape Doctor. I love this atty but I think its way overpriced for the build quality.

think i paid $110 for mine at okc vapes, and imho, it was worth every penny. are there some things i would change? maybe. i know that there are some things that Jimi did change on his. either way, it's by far the best performing dripper i've tried out of the box; not even the almighty trident can compare without some modification.

Yeah, I was confused when I first got mine. LOL I got some thinner ribbon Kanthal from Stealth vape in the U.K. .7 mm x .08 mm. Vapes really good.

Shipping wasn't cheap. 15 bucks. It took a week, because Jamaica NY sort facility held it for 5 days.

Yeah, I had to order 15m to make it worth my while.

Nimbus 9 vape has the Gat Thunder wire back in stock.

I got my Helios today. Built a quad with .5 mm ribbon kanthal. I thought my Trident hit hard. This Helios is badass !!

helios is the best dripper ive had so far, ive done quad ribbon .4mm and .8mm as wll as quad kanthal 28ga and 32ga

over all i think my hollow 3mm ekowool with dual coil 28ga, 5 wraps is the best hitting. i love the helios.. hands down my favorite right now. .5 ohms and very cool vapor.

i've never tried a single coil, but no, it does not have a single air hole option. i'd imagine it would still be fine, though, i don't see how a little air flow from the other side could hurt the vape quality.

Ill throw in my 2nd build on this beast:

Sugar and Cream boiled cotton wick, 4 coils @ 2 ohms each, 1.5mm diameter "micro" configuration, total resistance with top cap justover .5 ohms. Vapes like a beast, although I do go through about 1.5 Sony VTC4's a day.

This build is the first two coils I ever doubled, figure 8ed in my under 20 dollar Clone I think it looks good on the pos poldiac Clone.

Comes in just under an ohm.
