Hello 016 battery problem

It charges but every time I put an atty on it it blinks and doesn't heat the atty whatsoever. I take the atty off and the light comes on as it should. The only thing I've done differently is charge it from my laptop instead of the wall, could that have caused it to short out?

Check the batt and atty conections for dirt/debris. That can short the connection and cause problems.
