So, about this time last year I got turned on to V4L products by a coworker. I bought, I used, and I was quite successful in replacing my cigarette habit with vaping. That is, until a snowstorm (most in my area call it a blizzard, but it was really just a storm...) shut down mail delivery for about a week in February. Of course, still being a nicotine addict, and not having an adequate supply of liquid on hand, I wound up buying a couple packs of cigarettes.
When I did finally get my shipment of juices I refilled as I had done for the past couple of months and started vaping. About half-way in to the first carto I realized that something wasn't right. I had been coughing, pretty much on every pull. At first I dismissed it as getting used to the vapor again, but I had nothing like this the first time I used. I tried, unsuccessfully, a handful of times over the next couple of months but to no avail.
Last month when I was cleaning my office I found my old batteries and chargers and... chucked them, because I hadn't used them. It never really dawned on me to come ask for help, but I have been trying to quit using nicotine patches over the past week or so and it's just not doing it for me. I still like smoking, and nicotine patches don't fulfill the desires the way the vaping does. I would like to be able to pick this back up, but before I invest in equipment, I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience and what they did differently to resolve it..
When I say I cough, I mean that even the slightest pulls (that actually produce vapor) wind up in an almost immediate reaction. Not a coughing fit, but a couple of very shallow coughs, like I just inhaled something bad.
I have suspected that maybe it was a bad batch of juice, or maybe the cartos that I was refilling were too heavily used, or that maybe my battery was bad and the vapor wasn't ... er, well, vapor enough. Or any number of things, but alas, I went the easy route and just bought cigarettes instead of investigating this then.
I would like to place an order this week if I can be relatively assured that I won't have a similar experience, if someone can assure me that it was probably faulty equipment (although with 4 different batteries and what had to be 10 different cartos the only real common factor was the juice... but I tried from 3 different bottles of each of two different flavors.)
Barring that, what is the return policy on batteries and accessories? If I purchase new equipment and it turns out that I can't use it because of this issue is it refundable (minus shipping of course) within a certain amount of time or...?
Thanks in advance!
