Hi all,

I'm a 27 year old german guy currently living in the uk.(So excuse my probably bad english) When I watched the BBC breakfest show this morning before I went to work, they had this clip from the ecig on.
I was really excited! I've been smoking since I'm 15 and really looking for something "healthier"
I googled a bit and found these forums....browsed them a bit but couldnt find the stuff I was looking for.

Is the ecig really safe to use ( I don't wanna replace one bad thing with another)
What exactly is the "smoke" coming out of it. Will it smell (distract others?)
How is it compared to real cigs? Will I still get the satisfaction?
How does it taste?
What strengh to get? I smoke lights with 8mg nicotin in them.

and finally wich one ( in the UK ) is the best brand you can get.

I would really appreciate some help.

hiya mumu,
this forum will tell you all you need to know..the e-cig is definitely the lesser of the 2 evils..the cigarette has thousands of bad chemicals in it..the e-cig doesn't..the smoke thats comes out is water vapour so is harmless..the best one to go for in the UK is the DSE901 heres a link where to buy it.

Wich strength should I go for ? As I said, I usually smoke lights wich have 8mg of nocotine stated on the pack. I assume that the strength of the ecigs are are weaker?
Because you can only get 18/14/11 mg ones

actually I was like u mistaken the nicotine content.
at first ,
example one box = 5 carts
stated 18mg nicotine .is NOT TOTAL 5 carts = 18mg

is one cart = 18mg.

after e puff sometime , than I know
next last time I smoke low nicotine real cig
but now on real cig I smoked higher nicotine real cig .

u can see ur intake of nicotine is higher in facts.

BUT e liquid is LESS HARMFUL than real cig.
don;t have those thousnad of chemicals.
only harmful stuffs is nicotine that it.
Don;t worry , if u want to cut down on ur nicotine intake
there is even 0 mg nicotine carts to choose .it varies from high , medium and none .

Hi mumu, Kit has given you great advice as what to buy and where. As for the strength you would require, I smoke marlboro lights and have found that using the high strength 18mg carts/juice is sufficient for me. They give off little or no smell, if you are using it in close proximity to someone else, eg. in a car, there is a slight hint of a smell from some of the fruit flavoured carts, but it is very slight and almost immediately disappears. As for taste everyone likes different things I would recommend you get a sample pack of carts with your 901 so you can try them all.

Hey Betty,

just ordered the 901b ( the white one was sold out ) with 11mg carts with it. When you say you smoke malboro lights and use the 18mg carts sounds to me that I've ordered the wrong strength then
18mg just sounds so strong, but prob. not comparable with regualr cigs

Mumu, not to worry the starter pack comes with 5 carts in all strengths, so you will be able to see what is best for you. Also from that seller you also get 10 free carts if you mention your forum name in the paypal box, he is smokester! on the forum. Perhaps send him a little email and you may still get them? The black is nicer than the white anyway!!
