Hi all,
I'm a 2 ppd 27 year ex smoker for 3 weeks now. I can't tell you how wonderful this experience has been for me. Even though I made some really bad purchases at first.(live and learn) It has all been worth it. I finally settled for the eGo with mega Atty and I'm in love. I still get the occasional craving, but it's nothing I can't handle! I have sold family members on the idea and their jumping on the band wagon too. I'm just feeling very grateful finding ecigs, after holding my grandmothers hand when she took her last breath due to 45 plus years of smoking. I still shamefully smoked hating myself with each and every puff. When I was diagnosed with early signs of emphysema at 24 I again held my head in shame and lit another cigarette. STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!! I have tried nearly every quitting product. Chantix was a doozey for me, I almost didn't survive. For the first time in my life I KNOW I can beat the smoke demon and WILL!

Happy to read that you're having a positive experience with e-cigs. I've heard some real horror stories from people who tried to quit the analogs by using Chantix, too. Glad you made it through.

Welcome Beans, and congrats! I watched my uncle die from smoking for 40+ years, he was only 64.
I kept smoking, as well. I wish ecigs had been an option for him. I am so very thankful we have this amazing option to get off those nasty killers we used to suck on.

Much like you, I tried Chantix, and I thought I was gonna die... the horrendous pain! I have only been vaping for 3 weeks now, and did not put too much pressure on myself to totally quit analogs but that was my goal. Once I found a flavor I really loved, I have not wanted another analog since... 6 days now!! woohooo! We should all be proud!

Welcome Beans. It is amazing how easy it was to quit, isn't it. I too went the Chantix route with awful results. Glad you found the e cig. Wish we could shout it from the roof tops. It works.
