Hello, everyone. I've been reading here for quite a while -- it's the first place I stop when I have questions or want to check reviews -- and am just now getting around to introducing myself and posting. I started smoking cloves in college because I tried a Sampeorna Xtra and loved it, spent several years just smoking an occasional one, and then developed really nasty migraines and found that a clove would frequently help with them... at which point Phillip Morris killed Xtras and suddenly it was impossible to find a new clove. Due to the new crazy legislation here in the US which first put carpet glue in all cigarettes then banned flavors other than menthol, as well as complaints from my husband about me smelling like cigarettes, and rising prices on packs even when I could get them, I switched to ecigs and have been, overall very happy. I did idiotically buy one of those awful E-health things first, only to have the atomizer actually catch on fire one night. After that, I decided to do some research, found this place, as well as a few very helpful and knowledgeable reviewers who were willing to help me make an actual informed decision, and settled with the Joye 510. However, I've felt adventurous recently, and tried a few others.

To my surprise, I was out the other day and found (at a Walmart gas station, of all places!) a disposable Gamucci e-cig for a whopping $12. Since I was down to one 510 atomizer and it was starting to go, I picked it up. I didn't really expect much for it, but was pleasantly surprised by the vapor production and the throat hit. Flavor was a bit off (I'm spoiled to Awesome Vapor's menthol, for my main, and a combo of their ryu4 and clove for migraine days) but the cartomizer proved to be easily refillable. It's also lasted three days, so far, so I'm fairly pleased with it as an 'emergency back-up ecig'. I also found, to my surprise, that I kinda prefer the cartomizer to my normal 510 cartridges, because it holds a heck of a lot more juice at a time.

Can anyone be so kind as to tell me what sort of parts this e-cig is made from? I know that the smoking everywhere cigs are the same an the RN4081, and the 'Titan' is just a branded 510, for example, but I have no idea what this gamucci disposable would map to. The connection between the battery and the cartomizer is the opposite of what the 510's have, with the battery being the male socket and the cartomizer being the female. It's slightly larger, as well, or at least looks so to me, and there's an odd 'ditch' across the connector end of the battery, right across the little hole, about 1mm deep and 2mm wide. My camera is being borrowed by my sister at the moment, or I'd include a picture, sorry. If anyone can help out with this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Velvet

I haven't seen this variety, but it sounds like a KR808-D1 model, or KR808-D2 more likely(which, to confuse things, is also sometimes called an E9), and the channel or "ditch" is a typical feature on these models, especially automatic batteries like the Gamucci, for airflow. I'm not exactly sure which of these two it is, though...

I believe those Gamucci's aren't supposed to be rechargable, but there are many kit options out there. IMO the D2 stuff, if it ended up being that, is much more expensive than the D1s, and seems the same to me. Most of the models that fit D2 threads are going to run you more for a battery or two and a charger than what a complete KR808D-1 kit will cost you. the D1 cartomizers hold just as much, and it's a smaller initial investment for you.
KR808D-1 Starter Kit

and free shipping too... For comparison, a D2 battery is 17 dollars all by itself! Only a couple of suppliers carry them as well, Nhaler and LeCig are the only two I know of, actually.

My first E-cig was a gamucci, And they are just branded KR808's, that I spent about $100 on, and lasted about 48 hours till both atties died on me, lol. I'm glad its working well for you though!
I can't believe you found a kit for $12... That is too funny. More power to ya!
Look in to the KR808's though if you want more parts.

I've actually tried both, the Gamucci starter kit and the Gamucci disposable (ya gotta start somewhere). Two totally different e-cigs. The ones in the starter kit are smaller than the disposable one, and I'm pretty sure had different battery connector. I didn't like them as much as the disposable one.

I too kinda wish that the disposable one had some kinda rechargable option. It didn't come close to the vapor production of my 510's, but that thing lasted me around 3 days before the battery died. Big-... juice capacity, too. I hate to throw stuff away if I can re-use it.

My first foray into e-cigs was a couple of the Gamucci disposables. I didn't mind it too much. Only problem I had was with the vapor that choked me out a bit. I did really like the battery life, and how long the cart lasted. Would love to figure out what model they are, a way to recharge it, or at least, know what the cart would work with. That way maybe refill it, and use that. Anyone have any ideas in that department by chance?
