First off let me say Hello to everyone, I just got my E Cig yesterday and have been vaping away.. I am really enjoying it. It has cut WAY down on smoking the analogs.

Now that said.. I have been reading as much as I can on this forum.. and being the techno geek that I am I like to know everything there is to know about the items I have.. but i have a problem.. I am not sure WHAT E Cig I have.

Mine came from smokingeverywhere.com and from poking around it LOOKS like its the njoy Pro model. My E Cigg came in the "starter kit" that came with a charger, 2 white battery parts (white cigarette part, with the orange/red led on the end) one atomizer and a pack of filters/cartriges

I have heard over time its a good idea to buy a second atomoizer.. any truth to that and if it is true, where would I get one to fit my E Cig?

Also what cartriges fit this e-cig? I want to stock up.

Thanks for any info you can give me.. and I cant wait to read more on the forum!

I think SE eCigs are proprietary, meaning that you need to go to them for replacement parts. That said, they do come with a warranty. Downside is the downtime.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I have a few 901s and the parts have been interchangeable between suppliers.

Congrats on your attempts to cut down and welcome (from one n00b to another) to the forums.

:)

Catty, you will give up a warranty, but (in my opinion) save a mountain of cash by not dealing with the mall guys. There is a section at the bottom of this forum that is dedicated to suppliers. Be aware that demand is outpacing supply right now as these are taking off, so many will be out of stock at the moment.

I have been using AltSmoke and PureSmokers and am happy with both. Excellent communication and excellent Customer Service. Each stocks different (but standardized) models and colors.

Would there be any other suppliers you would recommend if/when I decide to buy another model?? I don't really feel like going back to the mall to talk to the guy again..

CattyCat--Duckie--is right on point here--cut your loses and move on. So many people here got burned by this company. Just do not invest another time in it. Like Duckie said, www.puresmoker.com and others are great to deal with and have realistic pricing. As for those atomizers, remember you can never have enough. They die without notice so be sure to load up----Sun

Iridium, CattyCat:

NJoy NPro (RN 4081 or something) is actually the same as Peewee at Puresmoker.com. They sell atomizers for this model (battery, carts, everything). If you contact Steve at PS, he most likely will be able to tell you if your model is indeed the same as his Peewee. His atomizer is the same as NPro, but he charges only $9.95 where NJoy charages about $25.00! NPro was my first one, I wish I bought from PS.

I still use my NPro. But refilling carts is a hassle. You need to either use a syringe or pop out the inner cart (the cart has an inner cart that holds the liquid) to refill the cart.

Of course, you could buy prefilled carts. NJoy charges about $2 per prefilled cart. PS = about 79 cents /cart. But even .79 cents per cart, you can still do much better by refilling.

The carts also hold very little liquid, about 0.2-0.3 ml, 4-6 drops, at most. Needless to say, it does not last very long. You can easily go through 5-6 carts per day.

However, it's not a complete loss. Get yourself a syringe (PS and TrueVapor sell syringe) and use your "NPro" on and off. Buy parts and carts from PS. It looks very close to real cig and it is very easy to pop out the used cart and put a new one in.

But, for everyday use, I would recommend DSE 901. I got one from PS and another one from TrueVapor. They Work great and generate a lot more vapor than NPro. Easy to fill the cart. You could use syringe, but not necessary. You can just "top off" by dripping on the cart. DSE 901 cart takes about .75 ml, 15 drops, maybe little less. So no need to change carts or top off so frequently.

If there is a drawback with DSE 901, that is, if this matters, they don't look as close to a real cig as NPro (which now I don't care so much). Changing a cart on the road is much easier with NPro. Putting in a new cart in DSE 901 could get messier, relatively speaking, than NPro. So most of time, I just pull out the cart and top it off with eyedropper bottle than changing the cart in DSE 901.

Hope this helps.

Speaking of the nPro, I still have one and it works best if I direct drip (2 drops of juice directly on the atomizer coil). As soon as you detect a change in taste or the vapor dies out, drip another drop or 2.

Boil the atomizer once a week for prolonged life, and always have spares etc etc. Hope this helps...
