I researched e-cigs a long time ago, back when I thought the only thing available were those little look a likes without much battery life and you were forced to buy prefilled cartos. After almost a week of research I have built myself a little starter kit that will hopefully help me kick the analogs and keep me satisfied enough that I don't have to think I need a ProVari...

I was so close to pulling the lazy card and posting for recommendations for a noob but glad I stuck with it, as I learned a lot more than I thought I would be able to take in. Thanks especially to the vaping 101 videos from Dr Vapor, GreenGrimm and various other youtube videos.

I'm about to place an order for an eGo-C twist 1k, charger, 4 stardusts, a case and 4 liquids. (under $100!) and can't wait to be joining everyone here.

Great job and welcome to ECF. Get extra batteries at least one. Backups, backups and more backups. Nothing worse than needing and not having. I don't know anything about the stardusts but I have seen a lot of people with complaints on them. Most those that have complaints recommend the CE4 or something like that.

Definitely need a minimum of 2 batteries in a setup. Other than that, not a bad kit, perhaps.

Before ordering that one though, look at the below link. I helped two other beginners put together an ideal first setup. It consists of your choice of two variable voltage eGo-class batteries, a charger, optional wall adaptor, and two options for juice carrying devices. All for less than $100 without the juice. All the gear is brand name genuine Joye, Vision, and Kanger products, not knockoffs that are so common in inexpensive starter kits and are of poor quality. The setup was picked to be KISS simple for a beginner. Compare the prices to what you were planning to get.
