Hello, and battery help

First I just wanted to say hi, not new to vaping, but new to the forums. Now onto the battery (hopefully) help. I bought an EVOD VV 1600mAh battery two weeks ago. The other night it turned itself on and stuck on, I had to unscrew it from the tank as it was just cooking and burning the juice and wicks. Now it won't hold a charge and the wall charger won't charge it. The LED just flashes three time, then flashes about 10-15 times after that and the light on the charger stays green. Anyone have any experience with this or knowledge on how to fix the issue? Thanks!

I had this problem with a battery I bought on ebay. Ended up tossing it, not worth the risk of an explosion.

You should contact whoever sold it to you. Maybe they have a return/refund policy. Does not sound fixable.

I agree sounds like the board is bad. Sorry.

If you feel it is safe and have the skill to take it apart to inspect the board for shorts then go ahead but it is probably not worth your time. However, sometimes it can be as simple as a sheared thread shorting the board and taking it apart and putting back together can work. Be careful though.

Well sounds like I'll be taking it back to the place I bought it from. Good thing I brought my two extra batteries with me to camp. They'll help me over for two weeks. Thanks everyone

Welcome to ECF! Be careful were you buy your batteries. Make sure it's a reputable vendor and not ebay or amazon.
