Hello! (and help!)

Hello, ECF!! I've been spying on you all for too long, and am glad to finally join you! Having researched here, I recently got my vamo and am happy to have a bigger oomph than my riva starter kit, but all the vivi novas and clearomizers that work ok on the rivas are all depositing loads of juice right into my mouth at any voltage. I do prefer using clearos and don't know what to do. Has this happened to any other vamo vapers? Please help me! Thank you all, so much, in advance (and for all the guidance you've already given me)!

hmm that is weird the novas usually dont over fill i would try to blow out the vivi into a paper towel and check to make sure the center tube in the vivi is still in the center some people have said theirs have moved from the center and it allows juice to enter near the mouthpiece up by the clear rubber seal on top of the atomizer/below the mouth piece.

then i would switch the vamo to RMS (top left button held for 10 sec) it will read NO2
then push both top buttons in for 3 seconds to switch it to wattage instead of voltage,
set your voltage to around 7.5 and all should be good.

Thanks so much, guys. Jazon1, I did that, and the vivi's not leaking. Yay! But what is it I've done? Do I just leave it like this, and I can't ever vary my voltage. I got it from Good Prophets, and they didn't send directions along with it. I know nothing about RMS. Honestly I got it to use a big batt, variable voltage, and also to be able to check to ohms on all the cartos and clearos that (embarrassingly) had just gotten all mixed together in the same bag. The vivi's now tasting pretty burned on this setting and has started producing a new, strange hissing whenever I fire it. If you could swoop in with a bit more wisdom, it'd be super. Happy weekend, all.

With a Vivi, I press the button for a second or two before I take my hit. Normally, if anything has gotten
into the center tube, it seems to burn it off beforehand. Don't overfill a Vivi either - they don't like that.
I've been using 2 Vivi's for almost 3 months now, and they are going strong, on the original heads. Haven't even
had to change those yet.

Hi Clemmy,
If you have it in no 2 then you've put it into RMS mode - which is the accurate mode. You can still vary your voltage or your watts. Pushing both the buttons down at the same time changes it from volts to watts. Choose which you want to use. Watts is easier because when you are in watts it will automatically adjust the volts to suit the ohms of the vivi, or whatever you attach.
Use the right button to increase watts (or volts if in volts mode), the left button to decrease.
Also - here's a link to a user manual for you:

So you're using the 1.8 ohm heads on old super-vivi, then, Cyrene? This probably isn't the right part of the forum to be calling out to other vamo users for their preferred set-ups to get them there. If someone, this time, could swoop in with a link to where this has already, most likely, been discussed, just imagine the karma that'd come your way...
