So it vapes OK at 5W? then don't worry about the numbers and enjoy. I use mine at 5 or 5.5w all the time, other devices I keep the voltage low too, 3.2 to 3.7 at most.

no.. it will vape a hit or two normal at 5 then it will taste burned it will even taste burned at 3watts a lot of the time!! Thanks for all the input by the way everyone very frustrating

Ok then, I wonder if the CE4 isn't wicking well, that can happen. What's the PG/VG ratio of your e-juice? Is the liquid level topped up?

i am using all 50/50 juice from mr e liquid... some 12 mg some 6 mg NIC... my first two or three pulls on the atty are decent then burned top it off with 2/3 more drops still burns.. i also noticed if i take three proper tasting and hitting drags and then sit in standby for about 3-5 mins dont touch anything and then drag again its burned all the sudden... im beginning to think its a defective device what do you guys think?
What happens if you take 2 pulls on the CE4, then lay it sideways so the wicks can soak up more juice for a minute or two and then try again?
wv2win.. what cartos do you recommend for the vamo.. I am pretty new to the mod world used a v2 and a joye510 for a long time.. my first mod... I am actually researching some good vamo cartos clearos tanks.. what have you? what do you recommend to vape on ? Dripping is okay.. but I don't like having to drip all the time want something that holds maybe a ML + just so i dont have to fill so often right now im vaping about 1.5-2 ML a day so I don't need or want a huge tank just something that will keep me filled for a few hours suggestions anyone? Something that works well on the vamo bc these ce4s are spotty this tank i cant figure out the only thing I've managed to start to get working over the past two days decently are the bridgeless 2.0 OHM Cisco Atties...
Actually ryguy...i would find a B/M..and put your devise in the hands of someone who can trouble shoot it for you...if you are burning new 2.0 coils with 3 volts...something is not right...are you 100% sure you are in rms mode?....i can hardly get a 1.5 coil to do anything descent with 3 volts much less fry juice on it..
yes 100% positive I definitely feel something is not quite right... clearo-mizer. I'm sorry im pretty nrew at this what is a B/M? Its not even so much a burnt juice taste it tastes like burnt atty but the wicks in everything are saturated and filled even 2 hits after dripping 5+ drips on an atty. I have messed around for hours and the atty seems to work pretty stable now as long as i drip frequently.. but the ce 4s and the mini nova no matter what are still burning... not making sense all of these products are brand new too! even changed the heads on the nova tank
Just to satisfy one more possibility. Try adding a few drops of distilled water to your 50/50 juice and see if the clearos wick better. I have been noticing I have to be really careful with my CE5s now that I am running 50/50. It is a thick enough juice to not wick to a top coil really well without alot of tilt a whirl swirl (very slowly) to deliberately get juice on the head.
Yeah man...i feel for you bro...it can be a pain to get your rig dialed in...dont give up man its worth it when you finally get a good system working well
A b/m is vape talk for "brick and morter"...or retail store...i know the Jersey area has some of the best stores in the country i would find one and see if they can check the output voltage under load and see it your vamo is firing full on 15 watt or 6 volts regardless of the setting...i personally have never heard of it with a vamo bit i gues in the world of electronics anything is possible..good luck bro

Do you have another battery? If so, try the clearos on that other battery. If its still burnt, then its not the VAMO but the clearos that are wrong.

how much time between pulls? Also keep in mind if you get a burned hit the next one can be tainted too even if the wick has saturated especially if you are pulling in fairly rapid succession.
