Hello and please help with Davide Mini coils, please!

Hello ECF! I've been lurking and learning for a few weeks now. I just received my davide mini and was all excited to get vaping with it, but for the life of me I cannot figure out which coil is which. The mini comes with three different coils, 1.8, 2.2, and 2.8 ohms. I know my eyes aren't what they used to be, but I've searched all 3 and can't find any engravings or distinctive markings - all 3 look identical to this noob. It is probably so obvious that I will smack my head, but I cannot tell which one is which.

Any help would be really appreciated!!

The number of Ω's should be right above the [white] rubber grommet on the coil head (you'll have to remove the head from the base to see it). It'll be laser etched or engraved, so you'll need to turn it around in the light to be able to really identify which is which.

a meter would be a better solution to this. there is always a variance with the stock coils. very rare i find them exact as to what is stamped on them. they are close, but sometimes not exact.

When available get a Ω meter. Easy reading a bright digital display...is for me anyway.

Thanks for the replies.

I will have to take a closer look at the coil. I swear I went over it again and again looking for the engraving, I even had my husband look and he couldn't find it either.

Welcome aboard. A meter, or device with it is very helpful, or failing that a magnifying glass. I can never read those engraving/etchings either without a magnifying glass. Mini Davides are nice.

Yep, I knocked myself out trying to find that too. I don't think the ones that come in the box are marked, the replacements are just as Crxess showed. I was going over the ones from the box last night again and still can't find any markings on them so don't think you are crazy if you can't find it.

Just received some replacement coils (Kangertech) and they definitely DO have the engraving as shown in crxess' pic, below.

And the coils that came with the Davide mini definitely DO NOT have that engraving. Which is irritating because the coils that came with are (supposedly) three different ohms (1.8, 2.2, and 2.8), but there's no apparent way to tell which one is which.
