My name is Laurent, aka DeadButDreaming. I'm a 36 years old French national, currently living and working in the Philippines.
What brings me to ECF, you're gonna ask me ? Well, i've been a cigarette smoker for the past 20 years, and i finally decided to quit last february. I must admit that it was not a simple task for me to do.
Then, last month, i met a friend who introduced me to vaping (i vaguely knew what it was, but never gave it a shot), and he basically told me all there was to know for me to start vaping myself.
As a long time airsoft player, i already knew the safety precautions regarding batteries handling and usage, the max dischage rates, the max pulse rates, ohm's law, battery venting, max charging C rates by types, etc.
And so, last week, i went to one local vapeshop, near my place, and started discussing about all the different types of hardware available, the juices, the mods, the rdas/rta, and after a while i decided to give it a shot.
So, as a start, i bought myself a SMPL brass mod, as well as a Velocity RDA, some 3mg juice, a pair of samsung 25R, a decent charger, and since then, i'm vaping on it, and i must say i'm starting to really enjoy it !
Based on my previous experiences, i know that if you start a new hobby/passion, the best and the safest way to gather reliable informations, to learn the dos and donts, to be updated with the latest tricks and trends, is to go and read on specialized forums like ECF !
